Roadside picnic area with a table, a trash container and a magnificent view of Mont Blanc. Overnight stays are possible, although the ground is not perfectly flat. The location is close to the road but can be quiet and was unoccupied at the time described.

We spent the night there. It was not perfectly flat, but that did not bother us! We were alone, unlike at the top of the pass, where there were many people enjoying the magnificent view of Mont Blanc. Bin and picnic table available.
