This is a parking area at Gasthof Hochfirst. After 8 p.m., a barrier prevents further passage, but overnight stays are possible by arranging this with the inn. The parking is generous, self-contained camping is required, and breakfast is available at the hotel.

We called the inn beforehand, and it was no problem at all to stay there for one night. The next day we drove the mountain pass road, which is beautiful and highly recommended.
The phone number was posted on the door; after making arrangements, staying overnight was no problem. Very nice contact. However, you must be self-sufficient. Apparently breakfast is available at the hotel in the morning, though we did not try it.
Very good place, everything is okay. No problem with parking.
