Unnamed Road, 723 00, Kato Zakros
Been here?
A small parking area near a pebble beach, with at most 2-3 spaces and an approach that can be narrow and sloped. The beach is 30 m away and has a working shower, while several small restaurants are about 200 m away. There are no public toilets. The area is especially quiet and sparsely occupied in the off season.

This little green oasis in the middle of the rocky desert is very charming. Pebble beaches, but very pleasant. Flat parking area with a beach 30 m away, with a shower, and lots of small restaurants 200 m away. No public toilets, unfortunately. At the end of June there were very few people.Translating
Nice and quiet! No problem for our 6 m Ducato. But it is not really flat; there are a maximum of two or three level spaces.Translating
The drive to this place is beautiful. In the off-season, the place is empty, like many others. A small tavern is open, with very nice people. There are several places in the village where you can park, and you can actually stop almost anywhere. Two beaches: one relatively level, one steeper. We did not find a working shower. Great hiking opportunities; very good and beautiful for self-sufficient travelers.Translating
Beautiful parking place for the off-season; we felt very comfortable in Kato Zakros :)Translating
Nice place in the off-season—actually, anywhere in the little town, because nobody is here. Superb climbing spot, and the shower works. Beautiful place!Translating
Small parking area, well signposted. Entrance somewhat narrow and on the ramp. It is better to drive past it, turn around, and enter from below. No services at all. Weak 4G network.Translating
