Been here?
This is a basic motorhome pitch beside a hotel and road, suitable for one overnight stay. The 57 euro price for 2 adults and 2 children includes admission to the Krimml Waterfalls and there is a restaurant. Toilets are available through the hotel until 21:00, while showers cost 3,50€ and pool access costs 10€ per person. The Austrian electrical outlets could not be used, and chemical toilet emptying is not possible.

Arrived around noon; very friendly reception. €57 for two adults and two children, including admission to the waterfalls. Perfect for one night, and we also had a very good meal at the restaurant.Translating
€51 for two adults and one child. The pool is €10 per person. The electrical sockets are Austrian-style, so we could not use them. The only campsite that still had space.Translating
Beware, this is merely a motorhome parking area, not a campsite. Toilets are accessible only through the hotel until 9 p.m. Showers cost an additional €3.50. The pool can also be used for an additional €10 per person. The positive point is that the parking fee includes admission to the Krimml Waterfalls and the Wasserwelt. You can always hear it.Translating
We arrived at noon today; friendly staff at reception. We are staying for one night (€45 for two people). Since we arrived at noon, we also booked the swimming pool (€10 per person). The pool is unfortunately only about 6–7 meters long, but it is recommended for cooling off. In theory, you could also use the sauna and steam bath; they do not check whether you booked only swimming or wellness as well.Translating
Motorhome site at the hotel. Cost €43, including two €9 admissions to the waterfalls. Unfortunately, there is currently no electricity or water, but the full price was charged. I do not think that is good. We will not visit again. One star only.Translating
We topped up with fresh water and discharged grey water. They charge €10 for the service, which seems expensive, but we did not want to look for anything else. The chemical toilet cannot be emptied, although some people tried, so the drain was blocked with feces. The staff should pay more attention. The ground is not completely level.Translating
Calling it a campsite may be a bit much, but it is a satisfactory motorhome site with electricity and water, plus admission to the Krimml Waterfalls included. We paid €43 for two people with a motorhome. The site is directly beside the road, but this was hardly bothersome because there was little traffic at night. We could start the hike to the Krimml Waterfalls directly from the site, which was a huge advantage :)Translating
Very convenient campsite when you want to visit the waterfalls, as admission is included in the price (saving €9 per person plus €8 for parking). However, the campsite is very basic, with no place to wash dishes, showers costing €3.50 per person, and the toilets closing at 9:30 p.m. The pitches are not very level and are close to the road. Also, cash only!Translating
Simple hotel parking area, but the location is excellent. Nice view of the waterfalls, beside the road but not too bothersome. The price seems expensive—€49 for 2 adults and 1 child (with electricity but without showers)—but admission to the waterfalls is included, saving €24. The waterfall can be reached on foot. The only drawback, in my opinion: toilets are only available in the hotel, which closes at 9:30 p.m.Translating
Great location! Also in price is included pay for Krimml waterfalls visit. WC and showers are very clean, located in the hotel next doors. Only be noted that hotel has working hours, therefore WC and showers as well. And the big pool in the main picture is for extra cost (don't remember exactly but smth around 20 eur per person). You can really hear the waterfall all through the day and night.Translating
43 euros per night including ehu and entrance to the waterfall which is 9 euros per adult. No black or grey disposel available. Use of hotel toilets until 9.30pm. Basically a carpark with Ehu and water. Across the road it's 10 euros per night carpark with no ehu. We asked to stay another night for 30 euros as didn't need waterfall passes again but was told would still need to pay 43 so moved on. Translating
Motorhome area belonging to the hotel; payment is made at reception. €49 for 2 adults and 1 child for 24 hours. Tickets to visit the waterfalls are included in the price. Electricity, grey-water and black-water disposal are included, just behind the sinks.Translating
Nice spot. They only accept cash; everything you see costs extra, the toilets you can use are far away, and there is no way to empty your chemical toilet.Translating
On May 1, 2025, we found the barrier closed, with no opening hours posted; according to the website, it should have been open :/Translating
A parking area directly beside the road. Unfortunately, there are no opening hours listed anywhere—not at the site, the hotel, or on the website. So in October you can suddenly find yourself facing a closed barrier. Two years ago, it was at least still open in early October, although at a rather steep price.Translating
Simple site, showers in the hotel (€3.50 per person per use). Waterfall admission included. You are genuinely parked extremely crooked; with the largest leveling blocks, you still cannot get your vehicle level.Translating
Great motorhome site; the Krimml Waterfalls are reachable in 20 minutes on foot, and admission is included in the price (you can even visit daily). €35 for the site including electricity, dog €5, and showers €3.50. Very friendly hotel staff, and we had some lovely conversations. Directly on the road, but quiet—more likely to be woken by chickens.Translating
No possibility of emptying the chemical toilet. Very close to a busy street. The noise of passing cars can be heard until late in the evening. €35 for one night, a motorhome, and two adults.Translating
Great site for visiting the Krimml Waterfalls. Admission is included. The hotel has toilets that can be used during opening hours. The food was also very good and the staff friendly. We were very satisfied.Translating
Directly beside the road, so quite noisy. €46 for 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog is already a lot. There is no toilet disposal, but grey-water disposal and drinking water are free. Only 2 showers for everyone and no outlet for a hairdryer, let alone a hairdryer provided. And that costs €3.50 per person per day. The pool costs €8 per day. However, admission to the waterfalls is included in the price.Translating
The campsite is small and extremely expensive. At reception they always say there is space, and if you cannot find it, they let you park in the waterfalls’ P1, probably owned by them, for €16 per night and the following day. This is fine if you do not need any facilities. However, be careful: there were motorhomes that stopped at the campsite informally, without electricity, and paid more than €50 to use a bathroom.Translating
This is not a campsite. It’s an overpriced Stellplatz which is hugely overpopulated and the pitches are not even level. We were charged for our 2 children, 2 years old and 2 months old respectively. In 3 weeks of staying in campsites across Germany, Austria and Slovenia - not once have we seen charges for children under 3YO. We paid €47 for a one night stop, which doesn’t even include showers.Translating
Tourist trap. We arrived at 7 p.m. after calling and confirming that there was still space. There was no space when we arrived (we found a place ourselves); the motorhome parking was packed, with vehicles crammed together. Honestly, not appealing. Waterfall admission is included, but it is expensive for an ordinary parking area. We left and found an excellent area 7 km before the waterfalls, with a genuine welcome and great pitches!Translating
Nice camping for 1 night, as long as you plan to visit Krimml falls on your day of arrival ou departure. 35€ early August for 2 adults and a normal car plus 3.5€/shower. Which is definitely worth it when you consider the camping places around plus the fee for Krimml parkings plus Krimml falls. Keep your Gastekarte to show it at the Krimml Kasse and enter for free. And go before 9:00 to the fallsTranslating
Perfect for night stay, if you plan to climb Krimml waterfalls it is good place to camp. No reservation if you can find place you can settle Translating
Great location next to the falls but its a free for all getting a space. water available and grey water waste but no toilet waste. ehu included bit site was pricey at €35 for 2 people & MH. you're paying for the location. as others have said free access to the waterfall, absolutely a must do, toilet access via hotel & pool at extra cost. In the town so lots of restaurants and bars available. Translating
No real pitches, just a parking area with grass and gravel. That said, there is a beautiful view of the mountains. Showers are expensive at €3.50, and pool access costs €8 per person. Hotel toilets are accessible until 9 p.m. The real positive: next to the waterfalls, with admission included in the campsite price.Translating
Good place, we stayed for 2 nights (35€/night, including free entry to Krimml Waterfalls). The ground is uneven. Hotel restaurant was basic and a bit pricey. Nice owners. Clean toilet and shower (usable from 8am to 22 pm). Water, waste and grey water emptying. Translating
Sad! We drove specifically to this site, and then this! The site was closed, with no information whatsoever on the website. Closed for holidays until 16 May 2024.Translating
Very well-located site for visiting the Krimml Waterfalls; admission included! The toilet and shower are only open until 10 p.m. because they are in the neighboring hotel. The site is therefore less suitable for tents, especially as there are hardly any level areas on the meadow (they do mention this when you register). We stayed anyway and found it very pleasant and idyllic!Translating
Gravel parking area, quite crooked and sloping, beside a road with hardly any traffic in the evening and at night. 10 minutes’ walk to the waterfalls; admission is included. Toilet and shower in the hotel; we did not have to pay extra. We think €30 including electricity and water is fair given the location. The toll road costs €11. If you leave on a different day, the toll is charged again, which we consider a rip-off.Translating
