Nicolas received us after 8 p.m.; it was impossible for us to arrive earlier. Although it was outside reception hours, he opened for us because it was late and we were in a hurry. He was very kind and explained interesting things to us.
Great site, level grassy ground, friendly owner. For just €16 including electricity, you can do without fresh water and waste disposal. We will gladly return.
We spent one night in a quiet field, €16 per night, very good with electricity and wastewater disposal. A toilet cassette disposal point would be a plus, but I recommend it. Thanks for the owner's warm welcome.
This is not a service area, but a campsite. We were forbidden from filling up with water!
A very friendly welcome from the owner, who agreed to receive us after 7 p.m. Large, flat, powered and water-equipped pitch, secluded, secure and quiet. Estate on the outskirts of Nîmes. €16 for two adults and one child.
The person told me that the services are reserved exclusively for guests. However, the signs indicating the place clearly bear the “motorhome service area” logo (photos attached), and Park4night clearly specifies “€3 for water.” It is impossible to turn around, so I had to reverse along the busy road, which was dangerous. Do not put up this kind of sign; just say “campsite”!
Simply fantastic! A huge property with a level grassy camping area and electricity. Fresh-water supply and wastewater disposal available, absolutely quiet and beautiful. Super-nice owners, and great for people and dogs. We had such relaxing days as rarely before!
Disappointing welcome. Turning around is impossible for a 7-meter motorhome, so we had to reverse for 300 meters!
We arrived at 7:45 p.m. yesterday evening, and although the owner did not answer the phone, he appeared exactly at 8 p.m. We were able to connect to electricity on a dry pitch and paid €20 for the night. No water, toilets or pool were available. A wedding was being held on the pitch with the pool, and there was music until 5 a.m. It was a bad experience.
We arrived at 8:45 p.m. in summer, in the middle of August, and the gentleman kindly accommodated our motorhome outside the usual check-in hours. Very kind. There is a water service. A safe stop for spending the night.
We arrived at 7 p.m. and the gate was closed. We called by phone; he spoke to us in English and said it was not possible, then said it would take him an hour to arrive, and finally hung up on us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
Warning: day visitors are not accepted for services only.
Quiet stop far from the main road. You have to call to enter and leave.
Very pleasant place! In nature but with everything necessary for a motorhome, and the owners were very friendly and available. However, make sure to arrive before 8 p.m.
Stopover with water filling, wastewater disposal and electricity, €12, cash only. Open all year; entry until 8 p.m. If the gate is closed, call the numbers provided. Very kind owner. Unpaved but fairly level ground, in the sun. Showers and toilets available only in summer. Perfect for one night.
Be careful: the description applies to the season. Therefore, now, at the end of October 2023, the sanitary building is closed. No showers, toilet, restaurant or swimming pool. Water filling and disposal are available, as is chemical toilet emptying; somewhat rustic but okay. The grounds are huge, very rustic and absolutely quiet, on secure property. Less than 10 km from Nîmes.
Change of owner since our visit last year. Much less welcoming! By phone, we asked for the upper pitch with the pool; we were quoted €30 for two nights. But on arrival at 5:30 p.m., we were asked to pay €40 on the grounds that there were five of us, and were asked to leave the next morning (Thursday) before noon because a wedding was planned for the weekend in their hall! The positive point: the pool was still pleasant.
Calm is the only positive point; it is very far from everything. Access is heavily secured; I had to call three numbers to get in. Parking is at the end of a narrow, badly damaged and dusty track, in the middle of a pasture. The services are inaccessible and rudimentary, and you have to leave with your rubbish. Pool? Sanitary facilities? Did not see them! €12 without electricity—very expensive.
Call ahead; ringing the bell does nothing! The owner is very friendly and brought us a gift, but otherwise there was no explanation of anything. Beautifully landscaped property.
We’re giving it 2 stars: one for the friendly operators and one because they still welcomed us after 8 p.m. Unfortunately, it was dark; they didn’t turn on the site lighting for us, and we waited a long time for someone to arrive. It was creepy. They showed us neither the toilet, shower, nor gray-water disposal. We arrived late and left early. I wouldn’t spend another night there.
