65 Oberschweinstiegschneise, 60598, Frankfurt am Main
Been here?
A quiet parking place on the edge of the forest, suitable for visiting Frankfurt. Tram stop 17 is at the end of the street, with a change to 18 for the city centre. The area is peaceful apart from frequent aircraft from Frankfurt Airport. Overnight stays are possible, with forest walks nearby.

We stayed here for two nights, which were quiet apart from the aircraft. If you are prepared for planes flying every minute, it is bearable. We would come here again.
Fine for one night, but it is under the airport flight path.
We stayed two nights down at the very end in the lights. But both nights a guy pulled up close to our car in a small black car. He got out and began masterbating outside his car right next to ours while staring at our car. We honked the horn and scared him off and the next night we saw him lurking in the shadows on the walking trail behind the car. We ran him off again easy enough but be aware.
The site is suitable only for short vehicles, probably up to 5.40 m. It lies under the flight path of Frankfurt Airport and is correspondingly noisy.
Not too noisy and a nice place.
Stayed two nights. We were the only ones there overnight on the first night. On the second night, the parking area was full by early evening because there was a concert at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium. Easy access by tram 17 and 12. Start at Oberschweinstiege on tram 17, change at Stresemannallee/Gartenstraße to tram 12, then get off at Römerberg/tourist information/center. The nearby Oberschweinstiege restaurant in the forest is highly recommended, a 10-minute walk away. Fantastic food and setting. Earplugs needed because of the flight path.
We were here during the European Championship. The stadium and S-Bahn are within easy walking distance. Parking space for vehicles up to a maximum of 7.50 m.
We stayed here for two nights. During the day there are planes, but at night it is very quiet. A few hundred meters away there is a nice restaurant in the middle of the forest, and the tram into the city is also nearby. The football stadium is easily reachable on foot.
Staying for one night is no problem, and larger solo vehicles can also fit. There is a small restaurant right nearby, as well as many dog walkers and joggers. Naturally there is also aircraft noise, but that is simply part of this region.
