This is a small, secluded and quiet campsite in a natural woodland setting, suited to relaxed overnight stays and walking. Electricity, water, toilets and showers are available; the sanitary facilities are older but clean. The owners are friendly when present, although recent visitors sometimes found the site unattended.

It is a peaceful place to relax and switch off from everyday life. Anyone without high expectations will be well looked after here. Water, toilets and a shower are available, somewhat old but clean. The owners are nice when they are on site. We will return.
A very strange place… A narrow path leads somewhere into the forest. No one was there; everything seemed deserted. Perhaps it was due to the rainy weather. Otherwise, the place seemed more like a mediocre parking area, definitely not a proper campsite. It may look different in high season, but we left again.
The place was reserved by email. When I arrived around 3 p.m., no one was there. The toilets and showers were locked. Only two old, abandoned campers stood there. The atmosphere was a bit like Friday the 13th. An introduction by email explaining the procedure would be ideal—something like check-in/check-out times and how the key works. So I left again. What a shame.
Better described as a parking area, not a campsite! There were neglected caravans on the site and the snack bar was closed. The ground quickly becomes soft; after rain we were standing in mud and puddles. Good for hiking, sanitary facilities old and used but clean. Fine for an overnight stay, but unsuitable for taking a holiday and getting to know Klingenthal! We—a family with one child and two dogs—were disappointed and will never return!
If you are looking for a quiet place, you are in the right spot. Showers and toilets are free. The best thing is the hiking trails starting from the site. Perfect with a dog.
Shower and toilet are very basic but okay, with somewhat low water pressure in the men’s facilities. Otherwise the site is perfectly fine. Hiking trails start directly from the site.

We were there, but unfortunately… only open in April.
Very peaceful motorhome site directly beside the forest, with a friendly operator. Ideal for hiking and cycling. The sanitary facilities serve their purpose. We will return!
