4 Impasse des Saules, 74940, Annecy-le-Vieux
Been here?
A free parking area that is generally quiet at night and one of the few options for larger motorhomes near Annecy. It can be very full on weekdays until late, and the road or restaurant may create some noise. The centre is about 15/20 minutes away by bicycle, with an uphill return, and bus lines 1-4-5 stop nearby.

The only place where we managed to find parking for our camper because all the other car parks have a 2.10-meter height limit. From here to Annecy city center takes about 15–20 minutes by bike, uphill on the way back. Free and quiet parking, excellent for one night.
Quiet parking lot, somewhat far from the center, very busy on weekdays until late evening. One of the few free parking options in Annecy, and suitable for larger motorhomes.
A disaster... a sleepless night... young people have fun doing drifts around the roundabouts... an incredible amount of noise. Never again.
Simple parking and we spent two nights there. The parking lot is filled completely every evening by restaurant visitors. It is on top of a steep hill and 2km away from the lake. Walking back to the parking during a hot day was a bit exhausting. We slept well.
One of the few car parks where motorhomes are allowed, about a 30-minute walk to Lake Annecy. Some traffic and noise until the restaurant opposite closes, but nothing too disturbing. It does the job for spending the night, nothing more.
A very good place to spend one night; it is spacious and very quiet at night. The ground is slightly sloped, but it has everything needed for a peaceful night and it is free.
Far from the city, but close to a train station where you can rent bicycles.
We spent two very peaceful nights. However, on university class days, be careful, as it fills with cars and you may get trapped. Bus stop next door. Take lines 1, 4, or 5; all of them take you to the center in five minutes.
Pleasant and quiet location. The construction work is finished, including the construction of a very original pizzeria called RITA, which is worth a visit. Do not forget to use the toilet.
