Been here?
This is a small parking bay between the lake and a comparatively lightly travelled road, with access to the water by a narrow path. The area is scenic and has been described as suitable for a quiet night in the past. Current signs prohibit camping and longer stays, and the place is for daytime use only. The road is noticeably busier during the day than at night.

Cannot stay longer. Only during the daytime.
No camping. The sign seems to be new.
Beautiful spot above the water, just right for one night. We were lucky that it was free.
Great lakeside spot for one night. There is also a narrow path leading down to the water. The road is noticeably busier during the day than at night. We had a pleasant and peaceful night.
Unfortunately, another spot was too windy for us, so we moved to this lay-by. Not much traffic in the evening, but it is still directly beside the road. The view is 9/10, though.
Super beautiful spot; we felt very comfortable here. The traffic is perfectly fine during the day, and at night it is very quiet, with hardly a car to be heard. We even went swimming in the lake, and it was wonderful.
An ok place for a night. Some road noise from the numerous passing farm vehicles and the occasional car honking it's horn.
