Forest pull-off near a busy road on the edge of Zürich, free and previously popular for overnight stays. Space is plentiful but the track is narrow for wide motorhomes, and daytime weekend crowding with cars, joggers and dog-walkers reduces the peace. Some traffic and occasional aircraft noise from the nearby main road. Note: the parking sign is for cars only, and Spanish-plated vehicles have reportedly been fined. As of early 2026 a traveller reported overnight stays are no longer possible here.

the only place we found to stay for free. not sure why someone commented about fines, theres no signs of forbidden parking, but i stead signs of free parking .
