City-view parking, strong wind

Car park with a fantastic view of the fortress at both sunrise and sunset. No services, only rubbish bins.

In addition to the parking area in the city, this is another option for visiting Antequera by motorhome, with safe and trouble-free parking and possibly overnight stays.

Great place with an amazing view. The sights and city center are easily reachable on foot. If you have a dog that reacts to other dogs barking, you may have a restless night. A dog somewhere nearby barks all night, at least during the last two nights. Otherwise, the place is highly recommended.

Superb view of the château day and night, quiet and trouble-free except when there is strong wind. We were a group of about ten motorhomes, and it felt like being tossed around in a storm on the coast. No need to worry; the motorhome will not tip over. Near the Carrefour supermarket there is a petrol station with discounted diesel (€1.37 on November 11), but it is not the one belonging to the store.

Such a beautiful spot to stay, with a great view by day and night. The site is somewhat sloped, so choose your parking spot carefully. Despite the nearby road, it is relatively quiet at night.

Very good spot for visiting the castle (€5 entry with audio guide) and the Antequera Museum (free). Both visits are highly recommended. Regarding parking, it has great views, plenty of options on level ground, and is very spacious for maneuvering. We spent one night and left the van parked here the next day.

Very practical parking; all the sights can be visited on foot. Be careful: to access it, stay on the A-343; it is impossible to pass through the town. Quiet with a magnificent view. It can become muddy in heavy rain. Watch out for potholes.

Wonderful view. But a local resident rides back and forth for hours on a motorcycle with a broken exhaust. I suppose he is fed up with all the campers here. Such a shame.

Excellent viewpoint, 15 minutes on foot from the center. No services, other campers present, and we felt safe even at night. The Torcal Park is worth visiting, 30 minutes by motorhome from Antequera; the road is passable with a motorhome.

Excellent place to stop and sleep peacefully. A good base for visiting Antequera, very close to the Alcazaba. It is a shame there are no services, which would allow people to stay a few more days, because the tranquility and magnificent view are worth it.

Site with some substantial potholes but a great view. No other facilities, but it is free. In the lower area lives a very peaceful brown-gray boxer mix, friendly toward people and other dogs, who enjoys something edible. We named him Wild Hilde... ;-)

Great views. The road is probably audible during the day, but at night it is super quiet. The old fortress is only a few steps away.

Beautiful place to spend the night, certainly a good spot if you also want to do the hike at Park El Torcal 10 km farther on. Unfortunately, I was unlucky because it rained heavily during the night and there was a lot of mud afterward... but it is still a beautiful place.

Beautiful place with a lovely view of a castle. No facilities. From the camper spot it is about a 20-minute walk to the heart of a pleasant town center.

Free mixed dirt parking area above the old town with views across to the castle but very exposed to high winds during our stay! Several motorhomes parked up, no services, but dump/fresh at the motorhome parking in the town. Town worth a visit & dolmens burial chambers (parking at the latter).

Very suitable as an overnight spot; we stayed here for one night. If all users were a little more considerate and parked more space-efficiently, a few more motorhomes could find a place to sleep.

Perfect! Beautiful view and several other campers (about 15 campers here in total on 02/02/2025), so you feel very safe. It is a 10-minute walk into town.

Campers are parked almost bumper to bumper. Messy setting but beautiful view. No services at all. Residents do not want rubbish put in their bins. Beautiful walk to the castle and old town. But one night is more than enough.

Terrible... people parking right up against other campers. It used to be a nice parking area but has become unlivable :(
