Reservoir parking, daytime only

At the beginning of the road there is a clear sign that it is prohibited for campers to park here at night.

Great place to park near the start on Caminto Del Rey (north access) - only 30 mins walk. Relatively flat, super quiet at night but quite busy in the day with other cars and vans coming to park there. Nice views and we had no issues parking there for 24 hours. Get there early or in the evening as it is very busy in the day. Good mobile signal. Road access is a gravel track but was easily driveable in a big van.

Perfect place to try to get last-minute tickets early in the morning for the Caminito del Rey walk. The tickets were sold out online for us, so we tried this way and succeeded. Many people look for the entrance. The entrance and last-minute ticket location are at the north access. From this camper spot, it is a 1.5-kilometer walk. Be there around 8:00–8:30 a.m.✦Translating

We spent one night at the viewpoint parking area. Many people during the day, but in the evening we were alone. A 20-minute walk from the start of the Caminito; tickets for the same day are sold at 8:30 a.m.✦Translating

We did not sleep at this spot, but a little farther down on a dirt widening. No problem, beautiful spot with a very, very beautiful view. We saw chamois!✦Translating

Fine place, easy to reach. Wonderful view of the dam(s) and reservoir. Beautiful walk along the Caminito del Rey. No facilities otherwise. Do not leave a tip as thanks! Little room to turn around for large motorhomes and vehicles with trailers.✦Translating
