La Chaperonnière, 49120, Chemillé-en-Anjou
Been here?
A very quiet countryside parking area with two spaces for camping cars beside a pond and near a cheese producer. Overnight stays are peaceful, with frogs, fish, birds, livestock and sunsets around the water. There are no services, and the highway can be heard in the distance. The on-site shop may be closed, but the cheese is available in local shops.

Beautiful spot for an overnight stay. I felt at ease here for my first free/'wild' camping as a solo male. (Though it still being a spot meant for campers, of course.) Virtually no local traffic. (It was the weekend when I was there.) Only a few birds chirping. One can hear the highway in the distance, but I didn't find that to be too bothersome. Recommended.
Very good telephone contact with the host. Very beautiful location, with the sound of frogs and fish jumping, a view of sheep and chickens, beside a lovely pond with a sunset. I recommend it. The shop was closed, but the cheeses are available in nearby shops. Very good products.Translating
