26 Rue des Écoles, 66740, Laroque-des-Albères
Been here?
€17 per night in a medieval village with nearby shops, restaurants, and walking trails. Shaded and quiet, with electricity and water disposal. Ground is fine soil—dusty and muddy after rain. No sanitary facilities on-site. Beaches (Argelès, Collioure) 15–20 minutes away. Barrier access can be difficult; contact support to enter and exit.

Like many Camping-Car Park areas, it lacks maintenance. Being on fine dirt and dust is not pleasant; I can’t imagine what it is like in rainy weather!!! Poor internet connection. A shame, because it is a pleasant little medieval village.
Pleasant, quiet area very close to the center of the lovely village of Laroque and its shops. However, access is difficult because the barrier is temperamental; you have to contact assistance to have it opened, both to enter and to leave!
Very shady and quiet area next to the village and shops.
Like all areas in this chain, it has all the basic services. It is very quiet, shaded, and good for spending the night if you are traveling through. The problem is the fine dirt surface, which gets dirty easily and becomes a quagmire when it rains. Otherwise there is nothing negative: it is quiet, has electricity, and the filling and emptying facilities are convenient.
Small area in a small village. Ideal for us while passing through. Wi-Fi was weak to nonexistent, but it is not really necessary.
€17 per 24hrs. What’s not to like about CCP. All services available. Short walk to bakers, butchers, bars, shops & restaurants. A really quiet night.
Many electrical outlets are out of order.
Very quiet. Beautiful walk through the village.
Just a mud area. Seemingly nicer half blocked off so that boules players can park! Expensive considering there are no sanitary facilities. Would not return. Original community camping area (as on map) now abandoned and blocked off. This community has spoiled the great tradition of French community aires and handed it over to Camping-Cars.
For those who do not like asphalt and its associated drawbacks: muddy when it rains. Very good for walking a small dog around the area for its needs. In nature, I felt comfortable and peaceful sleeping. We will definitely come back.
What a shame. Muddy ground full of holes. There are 1-meter-high tree stumps sticking out of the area; be very careful when maneuvering. I will never return.
Nice spot. Easy to get to and short walk to lovely village with great restaurant The Deux Enfants Terrible. The car camping site is quiet and has grey and black water disposal but no bins. Negatives are the pitches are in the trees so rough ground and roots and low branches are hazards. Some are on slopes. Difficult to find the pitches in the dark and find a hook up.
Not recommended when it rains. As already mentioned in previous comments, it becomes a mud pit. Also not recommended for larger vehicles. Maintenance would be advisable. A shame, I am an absolute fan of CCP sites.
All facilities are fine (electricity, waste disposal, etc.). The area is on dirt and under trees, so when it rains mud is to be expected. Very nice village and well located, with all shops.
Messi, no electric and lot of mud! Dont go here!
A very average camper stop. There are no toilets that are working despite them being advertised. Quite muddy under foot when it rains. The good point is its location to the village.
Very poor lighting, and the area is full of obstacles caused by tree roots. The Wi-Fi is far too weak. No view for a satellite dish because of too many trees.
Area 300 m from a beautiful village with shops, bars, and a pizzeria offering excellent value for money. Hiking trails start here. Quiet surroundings with the possibility of shade. Some overflow when emptying grey water. Separate taps for drinking water and cassette cleaning.
Excellent Camping-car Park, didn't have a problem with tree roots, quite level. The town is excellent, very quaint, lots of restaurants the burger place is very good value and and really good food. Don't follow Satnav, straight down to village crossroads and turn right.
A good place to spend the night and socialize. It has one very important problem: on entering, the system does not work, and only after a long time on the phone with the support center, relying on the operator's helpfulness, was it possible to issue a card through the machine and open the barrier remotely. Payment afterward was easy. Leaving in the morning was another horror story: nothing would raise the barrier. Only after a long phone call was the exit cleared. One wonders how you are supposed to leave the park in an emergency. Automatics are fine, but they need to work, or someone should be on site supervising.
Pleasant area because it is well shaded in summer and the pitches are large enough for a trailer. However, it was very noisy at the beginning of August: travelers on the sports field and constant coming and going from the adjoining tennis club... Best, if you have a second vehicle, to go to the beaches of Collioure or Argelès, for example. Nice market on Wednesdays and shops 300 m away!
Terrible experience. We spent a sleepless night because of two parties next to the parking area. They turned the music down at 4:37 in the morning. No toilet, rubbish bins overflowing. Problems leaving the parking area. No instructions and no one to ask; the phone number did not work. Total disaster.
For the price they charge: we arrived and found: 1. no electricity 2. overflowing rubbish bins Disappointed with this place. Very poor maintenance. Where the money collected goes, it would be good to review all this. We are people who spend money while traveling.
Under the trees or in the sun, a very beautiful area with large pitches (leveling blocks required). Very close to restaurants, bars, pizzerias, and a bakery. Superb village a few hundred meters away. Many walks.
Very quiet place, also good with a dog :)
Lovely, quiet area. Pretty village. Well maintained.
It has been raining. Most of the spots are in mud. We did not stay.
We stayed here quietly for one night; all facilities are available. Not all spaces have satellite reception. Nice village to walk through, with a bakery, greengrocer, and butcher nearby.
