Paid parking area right by the lake in Morcote, popular for the view and closeness to the village. Payment is by disc or coin/app machine, roughly free for the first 30 minutes then about 1-2 CHF per hour, with free overnight hours in some years. A clean public toilet sits nearby but only accessible until around 5pm. Entrance and exit are tight, workable for vans up to about 6m with mirrors folded in, but not suitable for larger motorhomes or a 7m camper. Swimming in the lake and hiking paths are close by.

Close to the village, 30 minutes free with a parking disc, otherwise €1 per hour. Spaces are also available along the road before arriving, at the same rate, a little closer to the village.Translating
probably the only place to park a 6m campervan (Grand Cali) close to Morcote. tight entrance and even tighter exit but doable if you have little bit of skill.
Beautiful view of the lake and a very clean public toilet just around the corner. Quite tight with a 6 m van (be sure to fold in the mirrors), but manageable.Translating
Very good and cheap place to stay
Nice. Free from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Top restaurant right opposite. Quiet. Not easy to enter with large vans but definitely doable; impossible with a motorhome.Translating
