Danube daytime parking, camping prohibited

We drove here at eight in the morning to take a short break. Ten minutes later, the police arrived at the site and said that camping was prohibited. Apparently, a neighbor had reported us.

Excellent spot; we stopped here for lunch before entering Slovakia.

Beautiful spot with a great view, very quiet. The approach is very good via well-maintained paved roads.

A very nice place without any infrastructure. Since we were passing through, we did not sleep here, but we certainly would.

We spent two nights here and it was generally quiet. Nice view of the Danube and passing ships. Unfortunately two separate cars came during the afternoon and did "wheelies" in the snow and ice missing the van by inches. I'm not sure if they were just playing, showing off or antagonizing us.

Top quiet spot. Beautiful view of the Danube. You park slightly elevated with a direct view beside a water-level gauge. Vehicles came by from time to time but did not stay. At least during the week, it was extremely quiet. Beautiful view of passing ships and boats too. If you are bothered by the noise here, you should not park along the banks of the Danube.
