Large, flat gravel parking directly across from the beach, but recent reports say the gate remains closed. When operating, parking is paid from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, although the meter was previously disabled outside the season. The beach is 30 seconds away and Vieste's centre is about 10 or 15 minutes on foot. There are no services.

We came here at the beginning of March 2026 and the gate was closed and the parking lot empty. Also, to get here there are motorhome prohibition signs on all roads in Vieste. We stayed in the Vieste marina car park, it was free and perfect for 2 nights stay.Translating
I slept very well here for two nights. There were two other motorhomes each night, otherwise nothing on the large lot.Translating
The payment machine is indeed switched off, so I was able to park for free and had a quiet night. Cars do pass by until the evening and also early in the morning, of course. The beach is a 30-second walk away! Vieste old town is a 10-minute walk. The parking area is very spacious and flat. No facilities.Translating
Very convenient parking for visiting the center (15 minutes on foot) and quiet at night. In December the parking meters are switched off. Cross the road and you are immediately on the beach. Recommended!Translating
