Quietly located in the forest. The pitches are sufficiently large and offer shade in summer. The bathing lake is easily reached via a forest path. Berwartstein Castle is about a 10-minute walk away. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. Thanks to the lady responsible for them. The internet is not always stable, but that is not important to me.✦Translating

We were satisfied, although a few pitches seem abandoned. It is a shame that the shower and washing-machine machines only accept the exact money. A change machine would be great. Unfortunately, the water was not consistently hot. The operators were very kind and helpful; the washing machine would not open its door, but the problem was solved.✦Translating

I cannot agree with the opinions of the others! A dark, damp pitch overlooking the fence of the garbage containers, with a noisy gathering and barking dog on the neighboring pitches—for us, it was not a place to feel comfortable and relax. We will leave early!✦Translating

Beautifully located campsite and an excellent base for hikes to the nearby lake or the beautiful castle with its restaurant. The pitches are pleasantly large and divided into parcels. The service is very friendly and the sanitary buildings are very clean. The only drawback: there is only one chair for all the showers to put clothes on. We normally avoid campsites with more than 10 pitches. However, we really liked this place in the middle of nature! What began as one night became two, and then we extended directly to a whole week. If you enjoy hiking and are looking for a family-friendly site with a cozy atmosphere, you will be well looked after here!✦Translating

Clean, beautiful campsite with a small bathing lake. Berwartstein Castle is right next door, with a child-friendly tour. Showers and toilets are very clean. Showers must be paid for separately, but 50 cents for 40 liters is easily enough for a good shower even with long hair. We stayed for two nights with three children. Very nice.✦Translating

I stayed here for two nights and found it very beautiful. An ideal location with a dog for great hikes. Berwartstein Castle is highly recommended. It is privately owned, funded by admission fees, and you can even stay overnight there. Unfortunately, dogs are forbidden from bathing in the lake, which I really do not understand. Nevertheless, I would gladly visit the campsite again.✦Translating
