Mountain parking, no facilities

Last parking area in Val Saisera. We stayed here one night because it is the starting point for Rifugio Grego. Very peaceful and quiet. No toilets or water, but several trash bins. Beautiful mountain views.✦Translating

Quite large parking area at the end of Val Saisera, at the foot of the Julian Alps. Beautiful views and scenery, fairly level, sunny and warm in summer. Good starting point for hikes to Rifugio Grego and Bivacco Stuparich. Quiet.✦Translating

A very panoramic parking lot at about 1000 meters above the sea level, in mid June we were two motorhomes there and we had a very pleasant stay; it was super quiet and we felt very safe. In the parking lot the only services available were two toilets but there are many hikes nearby. The parking is free but the access road is toll; we were charged € 7.50 for a 23 feet long motorhome.

Beautiful place with a beautiful view of the mountains. A little difficult to find a level spot. We were alone here today. Camping is not allowed, but spending the night is no problem.✦Translating

Several day-trippers during the day. At night, we were almost alone with a second van. Great mountain views and a good starting point for hikes. Very dark at night—wonderful view of the starry sky. The water tap had been removed, so no water was available.✦Translating

Great place, highly recommended. We were the only camper there at night but Saturday morning was packed with turists.

Great spot with an excellent view. Staying overnight was no problem. No camping behavior. We had some doubts, but the friendly ranger came in the morning to collect the fee. Excellent for early hikes. Please take your rubbish and other waste with you.✦Translating

Paid parking, €15 per day. No services, fairly level compacted dirt. Stunning mountain views. Quiet. Beautiful walks both to the mountain huts and on level paths along the stream. Recommended!✦Translating

Wonderful location. We passed through on Monday and did not have to pay. We slept in the last parking area, P6. Fantastic mountains. The hike to Rifugio F.lli Grego is recommended.✦Translating
