Lake parking, short stays preferred

Quiet for the night. A 7.20 m camper fits; you just need to find one of the four or five spaces bordering the grass and reverse in so you don't obstruct traffic. A stone's throw from the lakeside. We ate at Guido's—excellent!

Quiet night among the houses. Ideal for small campers; for a 7 m vehicle, the rear can extend onto the lawn of the public gardens, although I don't know whether this is tolerated during the day. I only stopped for an hour in the morning to visit the nearby village, which was nothing special.

Maps identifies it as a camper-van park, but in reality it is simply a residential parking lot very close to the historic center and lake. Excellent for short stops. No services. Quiet and peaceful. Not suitable for hanging around, making noise, or camping.

The camper parking area at Lake Bolsena offers pitches. Strengths: lakeside location and proximity to the center. Only drawback: young people on scooters until late. Waste bin nearby.

Small, quiet parking lot in a residential neighborhood. Only a few spaces allow the rear overhang to extend onto the grass, making parking possible. Ideal for visiting the town and perhaps also for the night. There are other blue-zone parking areas nearby if this one is full.

Excellent and safe parking, flat, and also suitable for long campers, since the rear can extend onto the grass behind the parking area.
