Beautiful place to visit Maastricht. The police kindly pointed out to us that overnight stays are not allowed there.
Cozy spot beside the canal and near the dog park.
Free and very quiet parking, toilets at the museum, good ice cream and a good restaurant with an unbeatable view of the Albert Canal. Leave the place clean. Thanks to the municipality of Riemst for this parking area, the starting point for beautiful walks and 15 minutes by bicycle from Maastricht.
Quiet parking area. No lighting. I will come back sometime. May 25 I do not know why people say you may only stay here during the day. You should park at the back, by the dog park, not at the front near the restaurant or ice-cream shop. There was police here yesterday. There was no camping behaviour, and they said nothing. We stayed for 3 days and have already been here for the third time.
Perfectly peaceful place. There are restaurants, a bar and an ice-cream shop nearby. There is a huge dog park right next to the parking area, highly recommended for dogs.
No barriers, ideal for walking and cycling. No services, “SO TAKE YOUR WASTE WITH YOU” so that motorhomes do not get a bad reputation.
4km from the centre of Maastricht, big parking, enough space for big campers. there's no barriers and we felt perfectly safe (only people here are residents or cyclists/runners for a stroll)
No longer accessible; barriers have been installed.
Ideal for visiting Maastricht (about 3 km from the centre). Near the parking area is a good ice-cream shop, and the Vroenhoven Bridge is definitely worth visiting (museum and brasserie beneath the bridge).
Nice place to spend the night. Fun dog playground!
Large parking area with a brasserie and an ice-cream shop next to it. No facilities available! It is free, though. One hour’s walk to Maastricht city centre.
It is an excellent place. But let's hope it remains free and free of prohibition.
We spent one night here. Very quiet, ideal, and close to the centre by bicycle.
We spent two nights here. The best part is that there is a large dog playground right opposite, very pleasant for meeting other dog owners. There are also children’s play areas a little farther behind the dog park. A really lovely discovery, and on the second evening we even saw two hot-air balloons take off from the parking area.
Very good place for a quiet night before or after visiting Maastricht. Beautiful area. Lots of cyclists leaving in the morning. I missed a bench or a table to organize my things and have breakfast.
We spent 2 very peaceful nights. You should park at the back of the parking area, as far from the road as possible. We are 4 km from Maastricht centre by bicycle.
I stayed there for 3 nights. Very quiet and spacious. Ideal for visiting Maastricht.
Spent the night here with 4 other motorhomes; there is enough space, including for large motorhomes. We parked in the rear lot bordering the fields. Had a wonderfully peaceful night. Around the corner there is an ice-cream shop; 600 metres to the right across the bridge is a good bakery, and a supermarket is 2 km away. Maastricht centre is 4 km away and easily accessible by bicycle.
Great, spent one night here and drove to Maastricht in the morning, to a parking area 5 km away that can also be found in the app.
Super large and very silent parking space with the gentle sounds of the clocks every hour. Large dog play area for our furry friends!
Large parking area with plenty of space, 10 minutes from the city centre. Very good for visiting; we spent the night there and were the only ones. A car with some young people stopped during the night, then drove on. Apart from that, a very quiet night.
Good open car park a short walk from the river. Quiet night with only one disturbance (local travelling home on his noisy quad bike at 2.30am). No amenities, but parking is free. Great access to the river for a morning run too.
Day-and-night parking on level ground surrounded by fields. Ten minutes’ walk from the Maastricht border and the bus stops. No services, just a small waste bin. Quiet at night, with no noise from the main road.
