Rua 1 de Maio, 6260, Manteigas
Been here?
A calm, level parking place near the church and municipality house, with restaurants and public toilets within walking distance. Use the left entrance, which is suitable for campers at approximately 3m; public toilets are 150m away and a fountain is nearby. It fills with cars during the day but usually empties by the evening. Parking is forbidden on the second Saturday of each month from 06:00 until 14:00 because of the market.

The place is currently occupied by festival tents. We diverted to Valle de Almareida, next to a beautiful playground and a view of the broom in bloom.
Quiet night in a peaceful village! It was practically empty when we slept there; in the morning, cars only started arriving to park after 9 a.m. Level and safe.
Well-levelled parking area with two entrances (choose the one on the left; the other is lower). It fills with cars around 10 a.m. but empties around 6 p.m. Public toilets 150 m downhill. Very quiet.
During the day there are a lot of cars parked but in the evening it gets empty. No-one complained of us sleeping there, there was a second Van standing over night as well. Very cute town, free public toilets available down the street
We spent the night here to visit the Serra da Estrela; it was very quiet and there was plenty of space.
We spent two very quiet nights in this parking area; the view is beautiful! There are public toilets 150 m away, exit right, opposite the kiosk (they are not shown on Google). As mentioned previously, there is a market on the second Saturday of the month, making it impossible to take the vehicle out from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Many hiking trails start from Manteigas and its surroundings. Magnificent Zêzere valley :)
We had a very good night! The toilets were open 24 hours, and there is also a fountain next to them. The views are super beautiful! We came in a Peugeot Boxer with a roof rack and entered through the small gate on the right without any problem!! The one on the left is even higher. I recommend it.
Quiet location where we stayed for two nights. Beautiful view over the town. Clean toilets are available down the street. Beware: there is a market opposite on the second Saturday of the month, so it is impossible to leave from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Top! Amazing view, quiet place and a small soccer field for the kids to play just around the corner. There’s also a water fountain just in front. Limited height, but not a problem for our 3,20m motor home. As suggested by other users, just use the left gate, as it is higher.
Central parking area, quiet night. No shade all day. Toilets nearby. This village is crying out for a motorhome area!
We spent Saturday night here, alone in this parking area with a magnificent view. Some young people played football on the small pitch next door until 11 p.m., then there was no more noise. Very quiet night.
We just spent one night here, the only motorhome. Very, very quiet place. No services, but a nice view.
Central parking area, quiet night, very good.
