This is a hiking parking lot beside the road for access to Monte Pollino. The ground is uneven and the area can fill completely during June weekends. Parking even slightly on the road may result in a fine, so your vehicle must be entirely off the road.

not flat and at least on the weekend in June it fills up entirely during the day. the police gives fines to anyone parking even slightly on the road! if this is full, drive along the road to find any spot where you can park your vehicle entirely off the road. we parked about a km south of this spot off the road for 2days and did not get a fine on a day where others who were parked on the road did
