It is no longer as it was before :/
Good park-up. Quiet night and a pleasant walk into the city center for morning coffee. Perfect.
Quite peaceful despite being close to the motorway entrance. Good night beside the Loire, next to a cycle and running path. Level ground with a maximum of four spaces. Bins available.
When we arrived around 6:00 p.m., almost all the spaces were occupied by cars—it was Saturday—but after half an hour a good spot became available. When we returned from Tours, we were alone. Slept well, with earplugs.
Ideal parking place for visiting the city by bicycle. It is right beside the cycle path, and after ten minutes of cycling you reach the bridge over the Loire, directly into the center.
Perfect for one night and not far from Tours.
Very beautiful, peaceful place and quiet night. We were alone after 8 p.m. Convenient for visiting Tours by bicycle, 3.2 km from the center. Very beautiful city.
Stayed one night while passing through. Great spot in the city, beside the Loire and a cycle and walking path to the center. The highway is nearby, but we were not bothered by traffic noise.
Quiet parking area, easy to access, beside the Loire. However, it is slightly noisy due to the nearby road and pedestrians and cyclists passing at the entrance to the path, and there are not many spaces. Convenient for one night; we found the spot at the last minute.
Beautiful hidden spot for spending the night behind a roundabout. A rubbish bin is very close by. Near the river. The traffic noise is bearable. We felt safe.
Great spot! by the river and only 3.5 km to the city centre via a river path and pedestrian/bike-only bridge. Spent one night with minivan
Beside the Loire. You can still hear the road a little behind it, but it is rather pleasant.
We stayed here for one night while passing through. We shared the spot with two other campers. Nice, clean place; the road has little traffic at night. The river is inviting for a short walk. We would gladly return.
Below a roundabout on the edge of Tours, but a very peaceful night and a quiet morning beside the Loire with a few cyclists and runners. Not many spaces and no services, but convenient for one or two nights en route. One minute away is the Saint-Georges parking area toward Rochecorbon, with picnic tables, although it can be somewhat busy in the evening. We ended up here instead, and it was great!
Very quiet and beautiful parking area. A good place to stay.
Quiet place, close to the motorway, ideal for one night and also for visiting Tours, 3.5 km by bicycle.
