A riverside wild spot at the end of a narrow, badly damaged track, suitable only for small vans and not recommended for motorhomes. The ground is uneven, sometimes wet or sandy, and can be difficult to climb back from. A pebble beach allows fishing and swimming, although the water is cold and mosquitoes are numerous. Occasional trains and few cars can be heard at night.

Great spot, we only stopped for a picnic, but it must be excellent at night. It is difficult to access without a 4x4; the beginning of the track is very rough, so do not venture there in a motorhome!
Beautiful spot by the river, access has a few potholes but is manageable. Because it is by the river, there are unfortunately a few mosquitoes in the evening, but it is still lovely. Take your rubbish with you to keep the place nice!
Great place, relatively narrow access with some bumps. Directly by the river, with birds singing. As always, please take your rubbish with you!
Very nice little place where you can fish. Bring insect repellent; there are lots of mosquitoes. Also, be careful: the ground is wet, and I struggled a little to get back up.
Rough access road, but at the end there is a truly peaceful little spot with a lovely beach on the Allier. The ground is not completely level, and the path is too narrow for motorhomes.
Sublime place. Ideal for stopping and reflecting on life, swimming, and enjoying a free fish pedicure provided by the little Auvergne fish. Swimming is possible for the brave, because the water is still cold… don't overdo it ^^. However, don't be clever like me with my trailer and its 2.6 tonnes... Going downhill was fine, but uphill was harder... I thought I was going to stay there.
At the end of the long road there is a large open space. There were three vans and three fishing cars a little farther away, which camped there. The ground is very sandy and unpleasant underfoot. We stayed one night without lingering. If I did it again, I would stop a few meters beyond the small building on the road.

A perfect place with a pebble beach, shaded. Swimming is possible. At night, few cars pass, but a few trains do. Campfires are also possible, provided you know how to manage them. And above all, please do not litter!
The spot looks great. During my visit, some people had claimed the place for themselves, with a car and tent in the middle of the passage. It was shameful.
A place facing the Allier, almost with your feet in the water. I met five fishermen, a cyclist, and a grandmother. Apart from that, absolute peace and quiet. If you like listening to birdsong, this is the right place.

VERY NICE and CALM. BUT BE CAREFUL it’s impossible to access the riverside with a car, we tried three different access and all were not possible. Almost got stuck at some point… park on the side of the road and walk down. Then it’s better and safer. Do not drive down!!!
The potholes at the beginning of the road are really huge. I did not want to risk it with my 125cc motorcycle. It might be possible with an off-road bike.
