Unnamed Road
Been here?
A spacious beach car park with direct beach access, level parking and beautiful views over Inver Bay. It is quiet at night but busier during the day with dog walkers, horse riders and other beach visitors, so leave space for them. There are no services or bins. The approach road is narrow but manageable, and the beach offers lovely walks and easy swimming.

Magnificent place with direct access to the beach. The parking area was almost full when we arrived at 8 p.m. Perfect for a quiet night. No services or bins.
Nice flat space to park. Very quiet and out of the way. It has no services but that was fine for us. lovely beach to walk on. Will be back.
Beautiful and peaceful.
The place is very quiet by a beach where you can easily swim.
Lovely quiet location - a bit windy - lots of flat spaces to park away from where the many dog walkers park Road down is a bit narrow but easy to navigate
Very quiet and nice view, only 2 vans. Dog walkers come and go so leave room for them.
Wet and windy the time I stayed here but is a great stopover, nice level ground, plenty people visiting here during the day to walk the beach, peaceful at night
Great stay. A few people coming and going but a quiet stay at night. We went out of the way in our 7m van. It was level with. I need for chocs. Would definitely stay again.
Nice spot, the parking area is spacious. Some traffic during the day but very quiet at night. Remember to leave room for locals out walking.
Really enjoyed the 1 night spent here. Busy with dog walkers and horse riders until about 8pm and then quietened down after. The sunset on the beach was something else.
no services (fine for us) but what a beautiful spot. we were the only overnighter. lots of dog walkers but everyone we met - so friendly absolutely stunning!
lovely spot, stayed 2 nights. locals made us feel very welcome. nice beach walk for our dogs .
A great little find! Flat tarmac right next to Warren Beach at Salthill Bay. At high tide, it’s not all that, with an unusual amount of plastic debris washed up, but when the tide goes out… what a beaut! No facilities. A peaceful night, with just cows for company.
Flat parking with plenty of room for a large camper, lovely beach and fantastic views. Busy during the day, quiet at night.
Great place to stop for the night. flat and quiet. nice beach for walking.
Full of space and quiet area, some cows came to say hello to us and you have a beach super close to taking a morning bathroom (but the water is a bit dirty).
Really great spot! Very quiet, with breakfast overlooking the sea! Free, flat and clean.
Parking directly on the beach, very scenic and peaceful. Locals come and go for a swim or walk their dogs until around 8:30 p.m. No services or restaurants/bars within walking distance.
Pleasant, quiet spot with a lovely view. No problem spending the night. Remember to park properly so there is room for everyone.
Hi. Arrived at 7pm Saturday evening and the small car park was still full with local beach goers. It cleared gradually to leave 6 vans and allowed a very peaceful night with no disturbance (except when I had to jump out of my small van in the wee hours with cramp after a day of hiking. Stay hydrated folks !). Dog walkers started to return at 7.30am. A nice small spot but it could get overwhelmed.
Parking accessible to large vehicles, slightly sloping but fine for sleeping. Quiet from 10 p.m. Locals come to swim and eat at the beach. Please do not set up tables that take up space. If everyone did that, there would be no parking left for locals. We risk having these spots removed because of such behavior. However, you can do this at the campsite.
Lovely spot to spend the night. It was quiet throughout the night, just us and one other van next to a beautiful beach which we enjoyed a morning walk on with the dog. Also quite flat which is a bonus. We did get woken up by some cows around 6am ish but it didn’t last long and I think it’s part of the coolness of van life!
Wonderful place, very peaceful, sleeping to the sound of the waves. However, I do not thank the motorhome that emptied its grey water here! Why do that? It is incomprehensible.
Stopped here for a coffee break and walked the dogs along the beach. Very nice, a very nice big beach, and we could easily have spent the night. Good spot.
27 July 2025. Easy access, large relatively flat parking area. Very quiet, just the sound of the waves and a little wind. Leave it clean after your visit.
Quiet car park (no facilities) next to the shoreline. Lovely views over the bay looking west. We were there mid July (one night) and it was very quiet, only two other vans. Locals come and go but again not much traffic at all when we were there. A neighbouring herd of cows provided an early morning call (0600) but this gave us an opportunity to have an early morning stroll. Plenty to see and hear.
Simply perfect night. Beautiful view. We spent a very peaceful night with other campers. Locals come and go to the beach with their dogs, but without disturbing anyone. Let’s not leave rubbish here or occupy more space than necessary.
Great little quiet spot away from the main road.
great place for a night. large flat parking right by the beach. very quiet at night. quite a few cars during the day with people using the beach. would recommend.
It was okay to spend the night here. We were there with three other campers and the locals still had enough space to park. People coming and going with lots of dogs—you have to like that. Fine for one uncomplicated night.
Great spot if you’re just looking to camp and get out in the morning. Track in is a bit narrow so wouldn’t say a larger camper would be ideal. Good beach and not too windy!
