Green parking, muddy approach

Not great, right under a large antenna, and you can hear the motorway.

To get here ignore Google when instructed to turn left towards Willinghusen but follow the road round and take the last left before leaving Barsbüttel. The motorway traffic hum can be heard but not too loudly. 2 vans were already parked here so we just stopped to eat and moved on again.

A perfect place if you like peace and nature while still wanting to stay reasonably close to Hamburg. I was there in winter, so the site was correspondingly muddy. It was possible to stand reasonably well on one side. Quite a few cars and dog walkers in the early evening and morning, but otherwise very quiet. I found the mayor's sign charming.

The pitch is behind the barrier, unfortunately with no access. We only later read that it is best to approach from the other side.

If you go up into the field just behind, you are even more hidden!

Good for one night, quiet (the motorway can be heard) and surrounded by greenery. Access only from Barsbüttel because of the barrier! Take your rubbish with you!

Gates closed!!

For one night, this can work very well: quiet, with a lovely walk and good 4G. (Be sure to take the route via Barsbüttel.) As we arrived early with the animals, it was far too muddy, so we left.

Great and quiet pitch! The motorway is barely audible. Everything is very green. ACCESS VIA BARSBÜTTEL!!!

Peaceful place next to a forest path, very good for stopping for one night.

Perfect place for the night; two cars were there. No issues, a short hike to the hill next to the hill with a nice view.

A good place to sleep; you can barely hear the motorway. Nice and clean. We were woken by wonderful birdsong.
