Camping Gimbacher Hof

Simple and genuinely dated site. Its location on the edge of the forest is beautiful. However, €35 plus another €1 for eight minutes of shower use seems completely unreasonable to me. The neighboring Gimpacher Hof serves food in its beer garden, but calling it especially delicious would be a stretch.✦Translating

Good campsite for passing through. Charming because of its simplicity. You get a key for the sanitary facilities; showers use payment tokens. Very basic, but adequate. Restaurant directly beside the campsite, with a large garden for parties, horse stables, and a playground. Everything is fine. We paid €29.40 for one night, including shower tokens.✦Translating

Nice site, but some pitches are narrow or sloping, with traffic passing directly in front of the camper. When booking, make sure to get a “normal” pitch. Over Pentecost I was stuck on a slope; on pitch 213 there was no chance of leveling the table.✦Translating

Small, cozy campsite. Water at the pitch, grey-water disposal, and toilet disposal behind the building (not accessible by vehicle). Sanitary facilities are old but clean and, above all, warm. Showers cost extra, so it was €29.40 for two people in a motorhome per night, including electricity. Not exactly cheap, but there is an excellent inn next door. The campsite is a little outside the town. The sanitary area is somewhat old but clean and has everything you need. For the shower and dishwashing room, you have to buy a €0.50 token from the site manager. The food at the inn next door was delicious. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival.✦Translating
