Been here?
Quiet forest carpark near Arni with a picnic hut and adventure trail, popular with local dog walkers and hikers. Free, unserviced apart from a bin. Traffic on the adjacent road is busy by day but nights are calm; mosquitoes can be an issue in summer, and mobile signal is weak. Space is tight, so park considerately.

Great little carpark, just off the road so no one can see you Translating
Local here: I own a van myself and I understand why this place is popular. But please: - Don't let your dogs of the leash! It's stressfull for us who walk their dogs there daily. - Don't align your car with the forest, people havent enough space to park as there are dog owners, families and more who need to park there. The locals are already annoyed and talk about getting the police involved.Translating
The place is very quiet. There is very regular foot traffic because there are great walks nearby, but the walks are mostly taken by people with dogs. The mosquitoes come out in the evening. I would say the only drawback is that the road is very busy during the day. Good for motorhomes.Translating
Quiet at the edge of the forest, close to the road but very silent. A perfect night, with a bird of prey appearing at the end of the day. Some activity during the day from locals walking their dogs on the path, but otherwise a peaceful night with no noise. No services, just a very full bin, so please keep the place clean.Translating
Pretty place in the forest. Very quiet at night. Forest paths for a lovely walk with a dog.Translating
Very quiet place with little foot traffic, where you can remain fairly unnoticed. Super relaxing, with birdsong in the background and several paths for walking. The downside is that mobile phone coverage is poor and unstable.Translating
