A large, level parking area beside a stream, with grass, trees, tables and benches. It is very quiet and illuminated throughout the night, but mosquitoes are present. Clean toilets remain open with paper, and bins are available; Wi-Fi is rather unreliable. Access uses narrow village roads and is unsuitable for larger motorhomes.

Perfect for one night, very quiet and safe. The place is lit all night and the mosquitoes are waiting for you.
Wonderful place for an overnight stay. We were alone there. A few hikers' cars during the day. No facilities. I never saw or read anything saying that only one camper may stay. I also do not understand the warnings about difficult access. Google Maps provides an excellent route to the place. Apart from rubbish containers, there are no facilities.
Parking accessible via small but very well-maintained roads. Very practical because it is flat, and the toilets are always open, clean, and supplied with toilet paper! Very pleasant to sleep with the sound of the stream. The only drawback is the very bright lighting, which stays on all night; we had great difficulty blocking it out.
Quiet parking area with several pitches and lighting. Tables and benches by the stream. Shady. Toilets were open and very clean. Enough rubbish bins available. Access is via narrow streets, not recommended for larger motorhomes.
Very quiet, with exterior lights always on and clean, well-stocked toilets. We are two women and found it safe.
Nice views for a car park. Aside from dog walkers, nobody around late/early. Lights go on and stay on, so make sure you can make your own darkness.

Very beautiful area, with tables, a barbecue, and a swing. It is just a shame that only one motorhome is allowed to stay overnight.
Wonderful spot right by the stream, where you can also swim a little, with picnic benches. A few people were on the football field in the evening, and from 10 a.m. there were visitors at the adventure climbing park, but it was still very quiet and relaxing! Wi-Fi was quite unreliable. Be sure to walk to the waterfall; simply follow route PR2 (red/yellow)!
Warning! Do not follow Google Maps to get there! We ended up being taken through the narrow streets of the village of Espinhal. Fortunately, the villagers allowed us to turn around by moving their vehicles! The entrance is from the N347 at the A13 motorway bridge, via a narrow road where passing is difficult but access is possible. Quiet place!
Toilet open at night. Very quiet. Flat. Recommended.
