Been here?
This is a small waterside parking area near Oban, with bay and river views and approximately 5-6 normal parking spaces. Overnight stays are possible without a parking ticket, but the area can fill and is busy with cars during the day. There are no bins or other services, only a picnic bench, while a pub and cafe are across the road. Road traffic can be noticeable, although nights have also been reported as quiet.

A place with spectacular views. We spent the night peacefully. It is beside the road and quite a few cars pass by.
Lovely spot with bay and river views, walk up and over Connell bridge was great then a couple of drinks in the pub across the road, quiet night, no services just a picnic bench but nice and close to Oban for ferries or stop off
Great place to stop on the way to Oban, only 10mins out. Plenty of spaces if people park fairly, no bin or toilets, but there is a pub and cafe across the road for drinks.
Arrived in the evening and spent the night here in our 6m campervan after our visit to the Oyster Inn. There was almost no road noise but lots of coming and going before and after the night. You don't need a car park ticket. A total of approx. 5-6 normal parking spaces.
Beautiful spot with easy access to Oban, but the road noise was pretty bad all night, even with earplugs.
We passed by today to stop, but it was impossible because the car park is being renovated.
Nice place on the sea side. Some road noise at night, but not much. It was completely full on the night I stayed there. There is a pub just across the street for a pint after a long day.
Excellent location on the road to Oban, with a small picnic table beside the water. No facilities, but clean. The road next to it is quiet at night. Bar and restaurant across the road. Completely secure.
Lovely view. Used by dog walkers and others to stop by to enjoy the view. Quiet at a (Saturday) night.
relatively quiet close to Oban for the ferry and nice pub across the road ideal, a few spaces but does fill up
Fabulous place to stop. Nice flat tarmac area with a picnic bench beside it. The views across the water at sunset were phenomenal. Handy for the welcoming pub and very little traffic once the ferry in Oban stops for the night.
Great place for an overnight stay. Coming from Oban, it is just after the Oyster Inn on the left. Space for about five vans, but beware that Oyster Inn guests use it as overflow, so getting a space is down to luck. Beautiful spot, but traffic noise becomes very heavy early in the morning. I would still rate it five stars for a free parking spot.
We were lucky enough to see seals hunting from the small park with tables and benches. We had a drink in the restaurant opposite. However, the parking is right on a very busy road; earplugs are recommended.
Great place to camp overnight. Wonderful views of the estuary and the bridge. A little beach with a slipway. We had food at the dog friendly Oyster Catcher. It was great and very welcoming. There was a short dog walk nearby and we had a quiet night. All good.
Very good for spending the night, free, with several parking spaces. However, it is close to the road, so it becomes very noisy from 6 or 7 a.m.
Very noisy night, but excellent bus connection to Oban. Still a good car park for one night, although there are rather few free spaces.
We had a good and quiet night. You can eat excellently at the pub opposite.
Safe and pleasant place, with a beautiful view. Noisy in the morning.
Nice overnight parking spot; we had a wonderfully beautiful sunset view over the water. The bar opposite is highly recommended—very cosy, friendly and simply lovely. We would also have had breakfast at the Oyster Inn, but unfortunately we slept through it.
Lovely views. A bit too much road noise for me at night.
Really nice parking spot with small wooded area and picnic benches overlooking the water and bridge. About seven spaces but by evening we were only joined by one other camper. No public facilities nearby however there is a lovely little restaurant across the road with a bar
Cracking over nighter in hattie, second time & just as good, lovely views especially when tied is coming in & out, lidl in oban & garage with washer&dryer just 200 yards up the road, oban nice to walk round if y motorhome is not over 6 metres, (small car parks), defo come back, lev nowt behind
Great place to stay for the night, quiet and with beautiful views!
Great spot, favourite of our trip, with a great view, picnic tables and a lovely pub across the road.
Great spot with an amazing sun rise! Wasn’t overly noisy or busy for a Saturday night, just people coming from the restaurant:)
Great little spot by the iconic Connel Bridge. Nice atmosphere in the pub and great chips.
