Bus station stop, motorway noise

Adequate for a stop. You can hear the motorway, but the place is relatively quiet. Villalpando also has very little of note: a couple of beautiful gates from the old wall and the main square.

It is the car park of a small bus station, with very little bus traffic. We spent a very peaceful night.

We stayed for two nights and it was very good, with no noise and very safe. It is close to the village, which has a square and many bars with very friendly people. The Civil Guard barracks are nearby and patrol frequently.

We arrived at this place with our camper at 11 p.m. and it seemed quite peaceful, but at 3:30 a.m. we woke up to someone speaking over a loudspeaker, announcing the departure times of buses to Madrid, Málaga, and elsewhere. Every five minutes the voice woke us from our sleep again. We had to leave the place and find another one at 3:50 a.m. because it was impossible to sleep.

We parked on December 10 in the parking area at the Repsol gas station. A very peaceful night, with no noise on a Saturday night. The gas station shop has quite a lot of products and opens at 9 a.m.; the bus station cafeteria is next door. The next day we refueled at the gas station. We did not visit the town because we arrived very late. Totally recommended for spending the night.

We needed to refuel in this area and found a cooperative called Agriza—I hope I spelled it correctly—that does not require membership to refuel. We paid €1.46 per liter, including discounts, and it is about 300 meters from the Repsol. Given today’s prices, I think it is a very interesting option.

We stopped to visit the town and refuel. The gas station attendant was very friendly. There are many places to park and it seems peaceful.

There is a cafeteria open until 10:30 p.m. It is peaceful until buses start arriving between 3 and 5 in the morning.
