Small daytime parking area overlooking Lake Salagou and the abandoned village of Celles, reached by a path to the lake in 2 minutes. Access is difficult in places, with holes and passages that can be complicated for motorhomes. Overnight parking is prohibited from 10 pm to 8 am, and recent reports mention thefts and a motorhome break-in.

Access isn't great! Holes and passages are sometimes complicated in a motorhome, but it is very convenient for walking to the “abandoned” village of Celles. We came just to walk around and eat there while enjoying the view.
1 star because you have to give one if you want to leave a comment. Completely unsafe parking! Do not stop in this village anymore. Several thefts and no follow-up. If they want tourism to continue, certain measures must be put in place, even if they cost money. To go around the lake, leave your vehicle at the campsite and rent a bicycle, pedal boat, boat, or walk.
Warning: there has just been a break-in at a motorhome near my truck. It happened quickly, but I noted their license plate and called the police afterward. Beware of a bearded man and an older woman.
Good for spending the day at the lake; the parking lot was empty on this sunny Sunday. It is indeed a shame that you cannot sleep here outside the season.
Dream view; it is a shame that you cannot stay overnight in a van.
