Quiet parking, weight restriction

Ideal parking area for accessing the Montfalcó footbridges hike. Easily accessible by motorhome, with enough space to park. We spent a very quiet night there, allowing us to set off early and enjoy the magnificent hike before the heat became intense. An excellent starting point! We highly recommend it!

Excellent parking area for spending the night and doing the Mont-rebei route, very quiet, with the hostel nearby for getting a drink.

Excellent parking for the Congost hike. Be sure to take the road from Viacamp. You then have 15 km of paved road and 2 km of easy track, accessible to motorhomes of all sizes. Very little mobile reception, so not ideal for those who want to watch a film or similar.

We spent the night there to do the footbridges the next day. We found a little shade when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. No particular problems getting there; the last 2 km on the track are easy if you take care. The footbridges route is magnificent, but we suffered on the way back uphill in the heat.

Very good for going on the hike. We did not sleep there, but I think the night must be quiet.

Large parking area; we spent one night in a van. Few people in June, and we saw foxes and heard the cicadas singing at night. The road is paved almost all the way. The last 2 km are easy, on an accessible gravel track. A few tight, narrow bends, but very well laid out, with enough space on the verges to pass another car.

Be at the hostel reception at 8:30 a.m. if you want to walk there and return by kayak.

The access road is in very good paved condition until about 1 km from the end. The final section is a very good track. Large, almost empty parking area in early June with several level spaces. Excellent welcome at the hostel, and the outing they offer—hiking along the footbridges and through the gorges to Masieta, then returning by canoe through the gorges—is extraordinary.

Ideal for spending the night before or after doing the footbridges route. There is also a bar at the hostel where they are very friendly.

Very good for spending a night. 500 metres before the parking area, it is possible to find pleasant parking spots under the pine trees.

Attention! Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are prohibited from passing! Therefore, we cannot provide any further information about the parking area or the route there.

May 2026. Excellent place, 100 metres from the hostel. Close access to the Congost de Mont-rebei trail.

Magnificent place even though it is very popular. The road is accessible even with a non-4x4 van. You need to be very careful because the road is extremely narrow and passing is impossible in some places. As for the hike... wonderful!!! An absolute must for the incredible scenery!!!

We tried, but we couldn't get there—4x4 only! There is even a sign warning “4x4 only”.

Magnificent top spot; we were the only van! Silence that gives you chills. The access road is long, and this spot has to be earned; make good use of engine braking! The hike is worth it. Enjoy!

Go via Viacamp because Google Maps takes you along an old dirt road. During the last 2 kilometers there are some fairly narrow sections where passing is difficult. At the beginning of March, the parking area was little used. The upper part is slightly sloping and there is no phone reception. Contrary to the previous message, I did not see any litter on the ground.

Spectacular place to sleep. We stayed at the end of February and there were very few people. We did see quite a lot of litter on the ground. Let's be careful or they will close it like so many places because of inconsiderate people.

Good place to sleep. We were very peaceful. Although the road to get there is a little challenging, it is quite narrow in places and has 15% gradients on the paved uphill section. A few meters before reaching the refuge, a rock takes up half the road, making access a little more difficult if you are driving a motorhome. Call the refuge.

Great spot, relatively easy access with a 7.40 m vehicle. The last 2 km can be difficult if you have to pass someone or if it has been raining heavily. There is a 15% gradient with one unpaved section. In November, nobody... The missing star is for the lack of phone reception in the parking area.

Perfect place to spend the night and then do the Montfalcó footbridges route. Keep in mind that the road is paved except for 1.5 km, but you have to enter from Viacamp.

Nice location in the middle of the forest. Outside the hostel there is nothing. You can have a drink or eat there, and they are happy to help if you need information. Even now in November it was still reasonably busy, but peaceful. In summer it is probably far too busy here. There is a spring with water less than 10 minutes away on foot. The access road is manageable; just hope you don't meet too many oncoming vehicles.

A top location for spending the night with a view of the rocks. The spectacular hike starts here. The drive there is demanding and difficult with an ordinary motorhome because of the narrow road and 15% gradient. We drove there in the evening off-season and fortunately had no oncoming traffic on the narrow final section.

Stopped here for the afternoon to do the gorge walk which is highly recommended! Overnight parking is permitted for vehicles 3.5 tonnes or less, no services or phone reception. Road there is manageable but a little challenging when leaving due to steepness.

We spent one night and it was very good, very quiet, and the place is beautiful.

A full and ordinary parking area; there are 1,000 better places in the area. Access is easy, 95% paved, no problems. Parking yes, overnight stays rather no. Only vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes allowed.
