Free mountain parking, road noise

Motorhome area near the centre, operational, with public rubbish bins a short distance away; noisy because of the adjacent road. Only waste disposal is free. Unfortunately, because of the usual inconsiderate people who throw wipes or other items into the cassette, the black-water tanks became blocked and, as if that were not enough, sewage was spread everywhere, contaminating the area. I recommend not using the services until they have been sanitized.✦Translating

Free roadside pitch with water, electricity and disposal services. €2.50 for water: maximum 50 litres, with low pressure. €5 for electricity for 24 hours. Everything works. There is a large grassy area just behind, quieter but without services. Thank you to the Jausier town hall.✦Translating

Ideal, perfect. Municipalities that welcome motorhomes are increasingly rare. Many thanks to this friendly town, which provides a privileged welcome on grass or asphalt, with an electrical connection for €5 per 24 hours. The nearby road causes no disturbance.✦Translating

Nice spot. Next to a river and small local park. In summer you can swim in the lake as well. To get electricity or water you need to either have an app or verify your phone number via sms to be able to pay for the services. Dumping is free. Big trash cans are available next to the house nearby (doesn't belong to the parking lot, so probably not a good idea to use it to much)

Besides the pitches with electricity, there are another approximately 20 pitches on the grass meadow next door. Water, rubbish bins and disposal facilities are available. Great place. Huge, fairly flat meadow where several dozen vehicles of all sizes can park, adjoining the stabilized area, which offers electricity—something we did not need. Quite quiet at the back of the meadow. We should be able to get out of this terrain without problems despite the utterly terrible overnight storm that brought torrents of rain.

When I think that some motorhome travellers complain about the road noise even though they tolerated the noise from the motorcycle gathering this weekend, it makes me laugh. But now, very seriously, this area is fantastic. Thank you to the municipality, and may other municipalities follow its example—their businesses will be grateful for the benefits brought by motorhome visitors.

An infestation of motorcyclists and motorcycles with limitless noise. It is not the fault of the motorhome area, but the motorcyclists’ heavy acceleration when leaving the village is unacceptable. Otherwise, thanks for the easy-to-access disposal station.

The paved area is close to the road, but on the right there is a large field for motorhomes. Free. Services are paid for by bank card. Excellent stopover while travelling through France.

Large motorhome area with a paved section with electricity and another free grassy section. Although it is next to the road, no cars can be heard at night. All services worked perfectly. Across the river there is a lake with various activities. Simply perfect.

Beautiful and quiet place at night. A large field is available to us, set back slightly from the road. I recommend buying and tasting the excellent ice creams from the biscuit and ice-cream shop. Thank you to the municipality for providing this beautiful place free of charge, with a wonderful view of the mountains.

Stayed three nights in all. An excellent spot, we stayed in the meadow for two nights. Was out most of the day but always found a flat spot to stay. For one night stayed at the front to use electricity for overnight charging and other needs. All pretty straightforward and to use. Close to the road but did not find an issue. Jausiers is a friendly place with a few bars and shops to keep you happy.

Perfect, great place. There is traffic, but you should go right to the back of the meadow; that avoids hearing the traffic. We stayed for three days. Thank you to the municipality.
