Seaside parking, quiet nights

A small, unfenced parking area near the sea, surf spot and Tullaghan Cross, with picnic tables and a beautiful castle view. It is suitable for one van or motorhome up to 7.0m, with a slight manageable slope and no toilets or other services. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, and recent overnight stays have been very quiet.

We asked someone from the municipality whether we could stay on the gravel behind the parking lot. That was no problem at all. Google Maps directs you incorrectly for the last 200 meters. Follow the brown signs for P coastline! We had a very peaceful night and everyone was extremely friendly.
Beautiful little place, good for walks. The correct coordinates are: N 54°28'10.9" W 8°19'44.4" or N 54.46970° W 8.32900°.
The entrance was very difficult to find, and we were almost about to turn around when we found this narrow access road to the parking lot. It was a very quiet night. We are grateful for this excellent parking opportunity.
The parking lot was very nice and we had a peaceful night. We were here on a Friday evening and there were several surfers parked here. From around 9 p.m. it became quiet. The beach is nearby and is excellent for surfing, about a five-minute walk. No toilets or showers, but no charge either. Local residents are used to campers. The parking bays were large enough for our 2.2 m by 6 m camper.
