30 Slotsparken, 2880, Bagsværd
Been here?
A quiet parking area near a lake and forest, with the metro to Copenhagen 5 minutes away. It suits shorter motorhomes, while vehicles over 6.50 m are unsuitable; a 6.30m van with a bicycle rack fitted just. The lake and park are good for walks, but nighttime activity and partying can make weekend overnight stays less peaceful.

The parking lot is occupied at night, be careful. We preferred to leave.Translating
A really great place for one night. A lake and a large park invite you to relax. Thanks for this tip. It was fantastic.Translating
Beautiful location to wake up to and explore the ruins and park! We stayed in June. One other camper there at night but left very early. No one knocked in morning. Bathrooms downhill next to car park. Very clean and trash bins. Quiet since neighborhood park so he respectful. Our 6m van fit fine but wouldn’t go longer since parking is small. Would stay again! A pleasant place during the day, although it is busy. A walk around the lake is recommended. I would not stay here overnight on weekends. It becomes a party meeting place at night, with cars coming and going.Translating
Good, quiet parking lot at the end of a road, right by the lake. You can walk nicely around the lake. We had dinner undisturbed on a pier. In the morning, some joggers and people with dogs pass by. Good stop on the way to Copenhagen.Translating
We stayed here for two nights. Beautiful place for walking. We cycled to Copenhagen, about 50 minutes to the center. Our 6.30-meter campervan plus bike rack just fit; longer campers could possibly use the other parking lot by the ruins. The first evening was quiet; the second evening a car with its engine idling stood beside us for an hour and a half. It was some young people, who left before midnight.Translating
