City-view parking, narrow spaces

Difficult for large vehicles because you have to pass through the old town. Free, sloping parking area.

Good views, sloping and narrow for parking. It is somewhat better in the upper area. Make sure to leave room for the bus that turns around there. There is a garbage container and a fountain in the park below.

Perfect for visiting Cuenca’s old town; the views are spectacular. It is easy to reach by motorhome. It is quite steep, so to sleep we went to a parking area outside the old town.

Good free parking option in Cuenca. Ten minutes from the center. A little sloped. Good views of the city and the Huécar River gorge.

Do not worry about the access road. I was concerned about driving up through the old town, but ultimately it was easy (the local bus also uses this route), and the place is great for visiting the impressive old town. You must leave the bus turning area at the back clear. We parked lengthwise against the wall at the back—quiet and seemingly safe. There are also some good restaurants at the front of the parking area.

We spent two nights very comfortably. The spaces have a slight slope, but nothing excessive. Next to the old town and the zip line. Use the San Isidro road so you are not taken through the entire old town, which is narrow. Two very peaceful nights with excellent views of Cuenca’s distinctive landscape. Bars nearby. No supermarket or services close by. We would come back.

Great place. Magnificent view. The route through the old town is manageable with a camper. Local buses also use this route. The only disadvantage is that the site is rather sloping.

Spectacular parking area! Very quiet. It is best to arrive in the morning or late afternoon/evening. It is sloped, but since it is a parking area and not a motorhome site, it is perfect. Ideal for vans.

Excellent place for reaching the historic center. On weekends, it is ideal to arrive in the morning to find a space, or late in the day when most of the parked cars have left. I suppose there should be no problem during the week. The bus passes here, so keep in mind that it needs to be able to turn around. We spent a very peaceful night; the ground is sloped.

I could not drive directly up through the old town because of the 3.0-meter height restriction. The site slopes both lengthwise and crosswise. There are only four spaces for vehicles over 7 meters. Be careful: the articulated city bus has to turn around here. If your motorhome extends beyond the parking space, the bus can no longer get past.

We spent one night, reasonably peacefully from 1 a.m. Several motorhomes were there. This is where a bus starts, so you can hear the engine noise. The national police came by a couple of times but said nothing. Beautiful views of Cuenca, with nearby trails. No services.

The parking area has impressive views and is right at the entrance to Cuenca’s old town, but it is extremely steep. The entire old town has a significant incline, and of course the parking area does too. Apart from that, it is great.

A sloping parking area. We arrived at night and it was quite lively. Spectacular views. Since we had a small van, we drove through the entire old town; the cathedral is impressive. We slept badly because of the slope, but otherwise it was great.

Very quiet area, with streetlights and a beautiful view of the city. We spent the night with several motorhomes. Access via San Isidro was very good, allowing us to stop at several viewpoints with beautiful views. We recommend leaving the castle area if you want to enjoy inexpensive tapas.

The police came in a couple of times and everything was fine. It is true that the road there passes through the historic center and can be somewhat difficult with a large vehicle, but in the end the town bus runs continuously.

Good place to spend the night, with plenty of parking and views of the ravine. The route through the old town is narrow and can be difficult with a large van or motorhome, but it is possible and not dangerous. If you do not want to cross the city, you can go around via the San Isidro road, which circles the city. We shared the night with four other vans.

Very good parking area for visiting the entire upper part of the city, the Castle District, and the cathedral. We accessed it via the CU-V-9144 road. From the rear, it takes more kilometers, but you avoid encountering buses and the tourist train on the narrow streets of the tourist center. Very quiet and safe.

Ideal parking area for visiting the historic center. The space is sloped, but it is possible to chock the vehicle. Access through the old town is a little tight. Police pass regularly. Great zip line. After visiting the old town on foot, you can return by bus line 2 for €1.20. Several restaurants nearby. Thank you to the municipality.

We arrived around 8 p.m. and the parking area was almost full. We parked directly opposite, on a dirt clearing. It is not very level, but we were very comfortable against the stone wall. Some noise, but nothing unusual. I recommend it if you want to visit Cuenca’s old town.

If you want to sleep, do not go to this place. The four idiots on duty will not let you. Fireworks, shouting, banging... and no police car in the area, which makes it feel unsafe. Another city we will not return to. There are bars around it.

An extraordinary view over Cuenca’s historic center. It is a PARKING AREA; personally, I found it excellent for visiting the old town.
