Been here?
A riverside campsite 2 km from Stolac, surrounded by mountains, with a bar and restaurant and a clear, cold swimming area. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with electricity at each pitch and clean but somewhat older sanitary facilities. Recent comments describe small pitches close together, while the nearby road is barely busy at night. The owner can take guests to a cave with 15,000 year old paintings and other archaeological sites.

Tidy, clean campsite in a beautiful location. The water is very clean and cold but pleasant. The only complaint is that fires are not allowed.
Clean facilities and friendly staff. The swimming water is crystal clear. A perfect campsite for nature lovers.
Beautifully situated, quiet, shady site. The sanitary facilities are not very clean.
A fantastic campsite! Our children have been playing here for hours. It is small and easy to supervise, the owner is very friendly, and the river is great for swimming! Unbelievable: €19 for two adults, two children, a car, and a caravan.
Great campsite by a river where you can swim. It was perfect during the heat wave!
Simple and clean, but most importantly, the site is run with humanity. You feel welcome here. We are here for the second time and will definitely come back. For us, this place is a jewel, and I can recommend it to anyone travelling through.
Great campsite with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The natural setting is beautiful and the river is crystal clear! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. There is a playground. Overall, a very pleasant atmosphere, beautiful nature, and good value for money.
Friendly welcome, everything you need, ideal for passing through! The sanitary facilities are fine, and the swimming area directly at the camp is beautiful and refreshingly cold. Excellent value for money, including the food from the snack bar. The nearby road was not a problem because there was hardly any traffic at night. We would come back anytime for a one-night stop!
We happened to drive past here on our way home and immediately fell in love with it. Super relaxed and homely atmosphere. The water is wonderfully clear and invites you to cool off. Completely worth the price. We would come again. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated, but everything is clean, and washing is even included in the price, with two washing machines.
The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated and the campsite sometimes a little untidy, but this did not really bother me. What makes up for a lot is the wonderfully cosy and quiet location right on the river. I enjoyed the peace at the campsite, walks to the village of Stolac, and swimming in the river itself.
I do not know how such a good rating was achieved. The site is beautifully located by a river, but the site itself is very untidy. The washing machines are completely rusty and the sanitary facilities are very basic. All in all, it is okay for one night, but no more.
It is always a pleasure to stop at this little campsite. However, the sanitary facilities could use some renovation, although they are fully functional.
A small, cosy camp with friendly staff. Under normal conditions, the sanitary facilities are completely adequate. The showers are more than warm enough! Overall, it is also clean. The camp is directly on the small Bergava River, with a swimming area; the water is ice-cold and crystal clear! The camp is well suited for exploring Stolac. The value for money is very good!
We really enjoyed this camp! It also has a balcony overlooking the river, and you can go down to the river and sit there because tables and chairs are available. We recommend it.
Great place next to the river. There is something for all ages: toys and a small playground for little ones, and a lovely river for playing with stones and swimming. The facilities—showers, toilets, and kitchen block—were all very outdated. You can hear the road quite clearly, and traffic starts early in the morning. For us, the riverside location still made it worth four stars.
Lukewarm showers, desolate and filthy toilets. All for €17 in October for a 4x4 and two people. This place may have been good about ten years ago, but it has deteriorated massively since then.
Lovely, calm campsite next to the river. Although it is next to the road, this did not disturb us at night. Plenty of hot water in the showers. There is a well-equipped kitchen for campers and lots of seating next to the river.
Great place, great atmosphere, a little noisy because of the nearby road. Toilets and showers are okay.
Nice campsite by a magical river. We slept here for one night. The friendly owner even helped us arrange a tyre service. Everything you need is here; I recommend it. :)
Beautiful place on a wonderfully clear river. We arrived at 2 a.m., simply parked, and registered in the morning. No problem at all. Electricity, water, and waste disposal are all available. Cleanliness in the sanitary facilities could be improved somewhat, but toilet paper and soap were available. We can truly recommend this place. The river is simply fantastic and ideal for swimming.
Perfectly fine for an overnight stop while travelling through. Despite the late hour, shortly before midnight, we were welcomed by a friendly young man and were able to spend the night without complications.
Really beautiful area, but otherwise nothing is right. I have been here four times, and it has become worse every year. No toilet paper for three days, dogs running loose and peeing and defecating everywhere, the kitchen getting worse, and hygiene that is a complete disaster. The beautiful surroundings do not justify the serious negative conditions. Pure greenwashing—no go. What a shame; like being housed in a chicken coop.
We were welcomed warmly, but the rest of the experience was disappointing. There were many toilets, but many were dirty, with faeces everywhere. There was no rubbish bin in the women's toilets, and the showers smelled. The river was nice. I would mainly go for the river. As a stopover, you can pay €5 more for a proper hotel in the area.
Nice place, especially by the river, but that is about all. The road onwards toward Montenegro is beautiful.
Fantastic campsite beside the river, where you can take a refreshing swim. Electricity, water, waste disposal, and, if desired, hot showers and use of the washing machine are included in the price. There is a small bar/restaurant with reasonable prices. The operators are extremely helpful. Small children's playground. Recommended for a few days of rest. €21 per day for two adults and one child.
We stayed one night at this beautiful place. For two people with a camper it was €19, with all facilities included: electricity, washing machine, waste and black-water disposal, and so on. It is extraordinary, with its small private river beach and bar/restaurant. Friendly owners and their very welcoming and helpful assistant, Leslie. Thank you again for everything! Fully recommended!
We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. All services were available, including a free washing machine, swimming area with access, a bar, and a children's playground. The owners welcomed us very kindly.
Super campsite. Very friendly welcome by the river. Very beautiful and welcoming. Excellent for travellers passing through.
€12 for a motorhome, one person, electricity, washing machine, water, and more. Included, plus a riverside location with a natural 'pool' and a simple but delicious little restaurant. I cannot imagine what more one could ask for. It was really great.
Campsite in a good location, providing everything necessary and more. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good hygiene. They make excellent coffee. An accessible and pleasant place to rest, meet new people, and cool off during the summer heat. Suitable for families with children.
Lovely place, especially beautiful in the evening when the lights and the water make everything magical. Great facilities for the price, including a free washing machine. Peaceful night. Beautiful walk through the very pretty village of Stolac in the morning. Do not be put off by the concrete car park, abandoned car, and rubbish bins; they are outside the site. Drive in and enjoy.
Unfortunately, it looks very deserted. The restaurant has been cleared out. What a shame.
Actually a great place, but it seems that the restaurant and campsite are insolvent. At least, that is what a Dutch newspaper says, and nobody can be reached by phone.
Great here, with a wonderful view. Dogs are welcome, including in the restaurant. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend it. We will definitely come here more often. The Engler family.
