Arrived at about 3 a.m. There was space, but it was not explicitly signposted for campers. We saw no other campers, only a small Sprinter parked there. We were skeptical; it seemed unsafe. We moved on—30 minutes to a designated place with enough space for an overnight stay.
Great place to sleep after Madrid. Close to the motorway, but you cannot hear it too much. There are bins and benches. A few cars pass during the night, but not often. City workers came by in the morning and greeted us.
Area with benches and some trees. There is a bin for waste. If you follow the promenade to the end, there is a hermitage with tables and chairs, no lighting, a rubbish bin, and a fountain without a spout. You cannot park in the hermitage area; there is a sign saying private property/no entry. We spent a quiet summer night in August.
We spent an undisturbed night here. Stone benches and rubbish bins are available.
