No overnight parking, aircraft noise

WARNING! Overnight stays are prohibited at this place. The municipal police visited us on Sunday morning and pointed this out. In Weiterstadt, wild camping carries a €100 fine. According to the friendly policewoman, who fortunately only warned us, Weiterstadt has no legal motorhome spaces. Even if you are parked nicely and do not disturb anyone, you are not allowed to stay overnight. Therefore, this is only suitable for daytime parking.

Parking area directly next to a playground. It was a quiet night, we felt safe, and it is illuminated all night. You can hear aircraft, but it did not bother us. Fine for one night. Of course, there are no disposal facilities.

Quiet, relaxed parking area for one night. Public toilet a two-minute walk away. Edeka supermarket 15 minutes on foot. Also suitable for large motorhomes. Mornings are restless because of traffic and the adjacent school, including its sports field.

This place has become our standard stopover on the way to the Netherlands. Quiet, spacious, great playground with a water play area, mini-golf next door, good restaurant around the corner, pump track and skate park 500 meters away. A tip: next to the “Zum Waldblick” restaurant there is a clean public toilet. So far it has always been absolutely quiet by 10 p.m. at the latest.

Great place. A beautiful forest playground with a water play area is right next door. However, you can hear airplanes in the morning.

Not noisy, but definitely not quiet either. You hear flights (probably depends on the wind direction, etc.), trains and some car traffic. You barely hear the motorway.. I will personally never return. But yes, I am sensitive to noise. Otherwise everything nice !

Quiet place for one night. Cool playground next door and an opportunity to take a little walk. No waste disposal, toilet, or electricity. Near the A5. You can barely hear the airplanes. Thanks to the city of Weiterstadt for allowing free overnight parking here.

Small dirt parking lot to the side of a small access road near a park/miniature area on the outskirts of a small city. Relatively peaceful, considering how close it is to a major highway and airport. There are bike trails thru forested areas with ponds & also through farm areas. There is a railway connection in the nearby town. Traffic along road begins about 7am. Cellular 4G is 3 out of 4 bars.
