Beach parking, seasonal overnight ban

The entire parking area has been taken over by Travellers. But it looks nice. Although overnight camping is not permitted on this part of the peninsula.

Same as Clara8. Cool. We cleaned the area of pieces of construction plastic out of respect for the place. The parking area is for regular vehicles, so no vehicle-category distinction is possible: a car remains a car, and there is no height danger. This isn't America. A small reminder to the so-called elected officials acting on behalf of foreign commercial companies involved in warfare.

We just spent one night here. It is the parking area on the right, before the two parking areas by the House of Minerals. There is normally a height restriction, but the bar was not in place, so we settled in. Very quiet night, with a little wind and rain. It is a huge grassy field; three vehicles were parked far apart. Little mobile signal, and we were not disturbed.

Excellent free parking for visiting the Minerals Museum and the trail to see Virgin Island beach. Judging by the rubbish in the bushes, some people have absolutely no respect for the place. This parking area may eventually be prohibited.

Ideal parking for a quiet night! Relatively flat, grassy ground. Accessible to vehicles of all sizes!

Giant parking area. Spent a very quiet night. We were only five motorhomes. No one came to check. However, taking out equipment—tent, chairs, tables, etc.—is prohibited, and the theoretical limit is 24 hours.

Very large, spacious grassy area. No setting up equipment. Close to the magnificent coastal trail of Virgin Island. Several very quiet nights.

Large field with green space. There were many vans and motorhomes, but the size of the area meant there was no disturbance. Public toilets nearby, but very dirty. A few kilometers away is Palue beach for surfing.

Very large, with room for everyone. Quiet, next to a walking trail—come on, it is ugly to leave toilet paper there. Just be aware that setting up camping equipment is not allowed. We were ready to leave when our neighbours were approached by the authority that controls wild camping; I forgot what they called themselves. So do not take anything out—tables, chairs, etc.

Large, pleasant parking area, accessible to motorhomes and vans. No services, but that is not a problem. Thanks to the municipality; it would be nice if this spot could remain free. Toilets 200 m away, next to the Minerals Museum. Many hiking trails. I recommend it.

I am here now. You can come; there are plenty of spaces.

Perfect spot! Huge grassy meadow, flat ground, and room for 50 motorhomes while still leaving plenty of space. A sign prohibits taking out tables, chairs, etc., but everyone did so without the police passing by. Very quiet at night. Men's, women's, and accessible toilets, a water point, and rubbish bins behind the Minerals Museum. Coastal trails start immediately nearby. Pancake food truck!

Incredible place. Large open area. Lots of people, but room for everyone. We spent two very peaceful nights here. We were able to take a couple of trips on foot and by bike directly from the site.

Great! There were about twenty of us and plenty of space between everyone. There are two other parking areas nearby, along the road, where some motorhomes and vans had parked. In addition to the toilets, there is a food truck open every day until 6 p.m.

Pleasant, quiet meadow for motorhomes, vans, and so on to spend the night. Close to the coast and beautiful hiking trails. We were right to leave our motorhome here during the day and cycle to the start of the Goat Loop hike, because it is very busy during the day and difficult to find a space along the coast.

What a convenient place in the heart of the peninsula. Quiet, spacious, with toilets and drinking water 250 metres away.

Travellers have settled in the meadow. What bad luck, because the place is convenient. Never mind, we will sleep at Cap de la Chèvre.

Open and free all year round, perfect for one or several nights. Free. There is a 2.10 m height barrier at the entrance, but it is not installed.

Very spacious and quiet place. Ideal for spending a night. It is a shame that some people think this is a campsite and take out all kinds of equipment. Please respect the place.

Fine if you like being packed in close together! Large, flat area. I had settled in a quiet corner, with only five vans there. When I returned from my hike, three of the five vans parked farther away had left and three others had arrived and literally set up four metres from me, even though there was plenty of room for twenty vans. So I left.

The best night so far: very quiet, large open space, and no problems with a 7.63 m motorhome. I recommend it for those who enjoy peace and quiet.
