A large shaded parking area in a nature reserve, beside a small pond with views towards Lake Vico. Several walks and mountain-bike routes start immediately, including trails towards Monte Venere; bathing is prohibited here, with a balneario 2 km away. Access is by dirt road, which can become deeply muddy, and weekends are fairly busy.

We wanted to go there on November 4, but the road was deeply muddy, so we did not risk it without four-wheel drive. We still saw about 15 wild boars.Translating
A truly beautiful place to linger! Drive carefully over the raised entrance, but otherwise it is a lovely spot. We had pleasant conversations with the farmer and a very peaceful night. The burned-out car is no longer there either ;) P.S. There are wild boars there!Translating
Beautiful place. Quiet. We saw wild boars. Large fields of hazelnut trees. When we wanted to walk to a remarkable cave, a passing hazelnut farmer warned us about the pesticide sprayed on the trees. It was very unpleasant to walk alongside and underneath them, which puts a blemish on this place.Translating
A very, very beautiful spot, peaceful and immersed in nature, beside a small pond in front of the actual lake. The place offers free concerts of nature—frogs competing with cows. We stayed one night. Not many mosquitoes. Pleasant climate under the trees. Good for dogs. Worth it if you want to stay peacefully while still being surrounded by nature.Translating

I don’t understand how some people can leave such positive reviews. To get there, the road seems to have been bombed, with trees scratching the motorhome everywhere, only to arrive at a parking area in the middle of a mosquito-filled swamp. You cannot see the lake. In short, if you want a terrible place, this is where you should go! Never again.Translating
