A small parking area near an old industrial building, close to supermarkets and Odda town centre. Recent local signs prohibit camping and campervan use, so it should only be used for short daytime parking. The area has been quiet at night, but some nearby buildings can be noisy.

This was a convenient spot, but: This parking place is not for campers/campervans and the local authorities have now set up a "camping forbidden"-sign.
The night was quiet, and it is conveniently close to supermarkets and the town centre. This morning, the city blocked several spaces with concrete barriers. There really were an extremely large number of vehicles, so it was a logical and understandable consequence.
Completely free and pleasant parking close to the bus terminal in Odda. We took a bus to P2 for 200 NOK each way and then a shuttle from P2 to P3 for 150 NOK uphill. The trip took us 12 hours including transport. The 20-kilometre hike took about eight hours with breaks and waiting for a photo at Trolltunga. An incredible experience. I wonder how long this parking area will remain free.
This spot makes it possible to park in Odda without paying a fortune. It is a rather unusual area at an old factory, and there are also signs saying that camping is forbidden. Nevertheless, it was completely full of campers. It is an ideal base for Trolltunga and similar attractions because it is next to the bus stops and opposite a supermarket. I wonder how long this will continue.
Although the parking area is intended for motorhomes, cars and trailers were occupying the spaces. We waited for a while for a space to become available but went elsewhere. It was not a suitable place to spend the night peacefully either. There are huts next door with noisy homeless people.
Camping is prohibited here.
Such a nice place to park. Two grocery stores are right across the street. Bathrooms are in the visitor centre. We used them to empty the urine container. There is an easy bus from Odda Station to Trolltunga. A multi-use path along the river runs right behind the parking lot; we used it to walk to Sandin Lake, launch our packrafts, paddle on the lake, and swim. You can also rent kayaks at Sandin Lake.
Stayed one night; a great, quiet spot close to the centre. No noise at night. The prohibition applies to the charging area.
parked here for a couple of hours and visited the town. Not sure if it was OK to stay overnight, so we moved on.
