Been here?
LES ARTISOUS is a quiet farm stay at a working cheese dairy. The grassy ground slopes slightly, manageable with levelling blocks. No services are provided. Excellent cheese and yogurt are sold on site with very friendly service. Overnight quiet is disrupted by early morning campervans from 5 am. Some flies appear near livestock.

Ideal place to spend a quiet night with a roof tent. Excellent cheeses and a very friendly welcome.Translating
Excellent place to spend the night. Quiet, with a few shady spots and the rest in the sun. There are some picnic tables to use. We arrived around 8 p.m., so the shop was closed, but we could simply park on the grounds. Dogs are welcome. There are some flies and horseflies. Highly recommended for an overnight stay.Translating
Very good location, no noise, just a few flies, but that is normal. The farm products, cheeses and yogurts are exceptionally good, and the people are very pleasant. I highly recommend it.Translating
We spent a quiet night here. The lady at reception is very kind, and her cheeses and yogurts are very good.Translating
Shop and produce excellent. Genuine buying local experience. Sloping grassy pitch. Shame that it is not quiet with campervans coming and going at midnight and from 5 am.
Very warm welcome; the lady is very pleasant and gives excellent advice. The cheeses and yogurts are delicious. Very quiet place. We highly recommend this place and this beautiful village.Translating
You must stop here! Be careful of a few flies if you park too close to the horses. The cheeses are excellent; the lady gives great advice. Try the Roquefort and the tommes, including one with hazelnut pieces. Do not leave without buying yogurt—an absolute delight! Creamy and available in several flavors. We bought six yogurts; if I had known, I would have bought more before leaving, but it is closed on Sundays.Translating
quite place to spend the night, good selection of cheese and milk products, some beer, wine, sausage and snack too. small charming city, but places to eat and drink were not open on the wednesday when we were there :/
Visited at the end of April 2026. Relaxed and warm welcome. Perfect grounds for a no-services bivouac stay, slightly sloping but easily leveled with ordinary chocks. Note: there are two access routes, via the farm and via a neighboring road. I would add to the previous comments that all the products for sale are excellent and organic. Thanks to these "real" farmers, who deserve great credit.Translating
The young woman in the cheese shop was really nice, and the cheese was delicious. The parking area was so-so, without services, but safe and probably quiet. We drove on.Translating
Very beautiful place, excellent cheese and a warm welcome.Translating
Very good, a quiet night and farm sales. Perfect.Translating
We have just spent a wonderfully quiet night! No noise at all! There were about six or seven motorhomes. We were able to buy excellent cheeses and other local products. Many thanks for the welcome.Translating
Many thanks to the owners of this farm for allowing us to spend a completely peaceful night. The welcome and setting are truly lovely. Our only regret is arriving too late to enjoy the cheeses and other products on offer. Judging by the comments, we clearly missed something delicious! We will return to make up for it.Translating
Superb place to spend a quiet night. Very friendly welcome at the shop and excellent cheeses. Do not forget to try the flaune for dessert. Thank you. Isa and Etienne.Translating
Fantastic place to sleep, super quiet! The next morning I bought cheeses at the shop, where a very kind girl served me, and the cheeses were delicious!Translating
Very friendly welcome on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. We were still able to get excellent cheese even though the shop was already closed. The pitch was small and quiet. We spent one safe and peaceful night with a second motorhome.Translating
As mentioned: friendly welcome, tasty cheeses, homemade cheesecake, and much more. Quiet night. The parking area is behind the cheese dairy, so enter through the gate and drive left of the house. The motorhome in the fourth photo is parked on prohibited grassland.Translating
Absolutely top-notch! Super friendly, quiet pitch on a meadow. Be sure to try and buy the cheese. Unfortunately, it is extremely delicious ;-) There is suitable wine to go with it. Many thanks.Translating
We were the only ones here. Very quiet night. We had some trouble finding the correct meadow. There is currently a no-parking sign on one meadow; on the other, a fence serves as a landmark. The meadow is currently wet, so be careful not to get stuck. We bought excellent sheep's cheese in the cheese shop, where the service was very friendly. Thanks to the owners!Translating
Thanks to the owners for making part of their land available to us. This was our second visit. Very quiet night. Excellent cheeses and yogurts. Small market on Saturday morning and a good bakery at the exit of the village. Fellow motorhome travelers, please respect the place.Translating
Really quiet place, nice cheese shop and a cozy little town! Unfortunately, there were a great many flies, hence only four stars.Translating
We often come here to buy cheese. Unfortunately, today was Sunday and it was closed.
We stopped for the cheeses. Excellent welcome.
Excellent stopover. Part of the grounds is not very level, but since we were alone, we could choose a perfectly level spot. Accessible with a 12-ton, 10-meter-long vehicle; take the rear road. Excellent welcome, and their cheeses are outstanding.
Good quiet night. Four of us in a lovely area! Thank youuuuu.
Very warm welcome and very good products at reasonable prices. There were seven motorhomes in the dedicated parking area, and we spent a very quiet night.
This is a great spot. The cheese shop staff are wonderful, the spot is excellent, and there are lots of delicious cheeses. We had a great night and ate very well.
Peaceful grounds; the cheeses and yogurts from the shop are incredibly good!
We stayed here yesterday. Quiet place and excellent welcome. The shop is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and sells delicious beer, excellent yogurt and cheese. The only drawbacks are the flies and dog waste not picked up by previous travelers. Thank you for the free parking; we will gladly return. The Billiouw family.
Good place to park. There are quite a few shady spots. Quiet place to spend the night.
Parking area is somewhat sloping but perfect for spending the night. There are no services. I recommend visiting the cheese shop. Since it is a livestock area, watch out for flies.
Very quiet and relaxing place. Three picnic tables. Grass and red-earth ground. We stopped for a very restful night. Warm welcome. Personally, I found the yogurts and cheeses very good, and the milk is incredible. Recommended.
Arrived after 6 p.m.; the shop was still open. The cheeses and yogurts are excellent. The place is perfect and peaceful. The village is nearby for pastries the next morning. I recommend this place.
Excellent welcome from the cheesemaker. Basic but adequate grounds with two picnic tables. The shop has good products; their yogurts are absolutely amazing, both in texture and taste. Must try!
I cannot give it five stars because there are no motorhome services. As a parking area, it is fine; there is nothing that cannot be solved with a few leveling blocks. The shop's products are exquisite, so be sure to stop by.
Grass pitch at the end of the cheese dairy, which is behind a private house. The cheesemaker says you can set up there directly without going through her. Useful information: the cheese dairy closes at 6 p.m., and the cheeses and yogurts are delicious. A very enjoyable stopover.
Quiet place, very good cheese and yogurt. Very warm welcome. I recommend this place.
Great quiet place, excellent products, very welcoming staff. An address to remember. Thank you for welcoming us.
A very beautiful, peaceful place with perfect grounds. Many thanks to the owners for letting us enjoy this lovely, well-maintained place. It is a shame we could not taste the products, but we will return.
