Quiet riverside parking, mosquitoes common

Great stopover! Nice views of the boats. A wobbly bridge leads to the island nature reserve.

Very nice place, we spent one night here and it was quiet and peaceful. There are no services at all and no trash cans either but there is a river and pierce and a nice forest to walk around in. Lots of mosquitoes but that’s expected.

Very beautiful place! Unfortunately, there are lots of mosquitoes. There is a pit toilet, but it is somewhat hidden: when you walk toward the suspension bridge, there is a small building on the right.

Nice and quiet place, only the birds makes a sound, nice public toilet on the path to the bridge, lovely morningwalk around the island before you hit the road again.

Great waterside spot, quiet and idyllic. You can even observe beavers.

The northern coordinates are incorrect and take you onto private property. They should be: N63°45′08.43″. The east coordinate is correct.

April 18, 2026: Beautiful, quiet pitch by the Ume River, also wonderful for dogs. Fine for one night, but you must be self-sufficient. We were there with four other motorhomes; several walkers arrived in the morning, as it was Sunday.

Quiet surroundings. No facilities, or I did not find them. Ideal for one night. Motorhome parking is limited to 24 hours. During the day, the parking area fills with cars belonging to walkers and cross-country skiers. Nobody was there at night. Suitable for motorhomes.

Very quiet, beautiful place. The access road and pitch had been cleared despite the snowfall and were passable even for large vehicles. The snowplow came by again in the morning. No traffic in the evening. Several walkers arrive in the morning.

Beautiful, fairly level parking area by the water. It was easy to find even in the dark when arriving from the harbor. We were alone overnight in October. A pleasant little nature trail is nearby. Very peaceful, with beautiful scenery.

The parking area is for visitors to the nature reserve, but it is also popular with motorhomes for overnight stays. Hopefully the place will continue to be available for overnight stays. Please do not litter or use the private residents' trash bins. In spring, the road has limited load-bearing capacity and the maximum vehicle weight is 4 tons.

A completely ordinary pitch suitable for one night. Unfortunately, we had rainy weather and the place was full of puddles. When a car drove past, you can imagine what happened. We drove on.

Awesome place, nice and quiet while still being beautiful. You can park by the water or a little farther inland. There is a clean, tidy outhouse a short walk into the forest.

You can stand absolutely peacefully by the water. Unfortunately, the wind direction was unfavorable: we could strongly smell the refinery to the northeast.

Looks a good spot, lots of bugs and other vans already (early on a Tuesday). We ended up driving further south to one by an outdoor exercise area as we wanted those facilities, but this would be option B for the area.

A very beautiful place. There were still spaces directly by the water, but we stood more in the second row. It was very quiet and pleasant until two Dutch motorhomes arrived. They parked close to the other motorhomes. The important thing was that they had plenty of space between themselves. They brought out chairs and tables, turned on patio heaters, and blasted everyone on the site with party music. Simply selfish, outrageous, and disrespectful!

Great location near the city of Umeå, but the parking area was full and is very popular with campers and fishermen. We parked beside it and had a quiet night.

Fantastic, quiet, cozy place. We met several others who were quietly enjoying the evening and fishing in the river, where fishing permits can be obtained for free.

A very quiet, beautiful place! We spent one night here with five motorhomes and a few anglers. The suspension bridge is worth seeing; the mosquitoes on the guided walking trail less so. Waste disposal was only partially possible because the containers are locked for local residents.

So it's just horible it's just horible . Very loud no toilet no bin everyone is screaming . It's impossible to sleep . Do no go here.

Very good parking, peaceful and quiet. Good hiking trail on Tuvan Island. No trash bins for tourists; use the Sopor.nu app to find the nearest recycling facility.

Small place directly by the water. Unfortunately, the toilet described here near the suspension bridge was completely full. If you do not depend on it, you can stay here very well and peacefully.
