This is a large, slightly sloping heathland parking area beside a golf course, with good views and space for dog walking. It is for daytime use only, and overnight parking is forbidden by local bylaws. A 1.8m height-restriction gate has been added, so it is no longer suitable for many vans; a burger-chain restaurant is opposite.

This is a great place to park up in the day but overnight parking is not allowed due to local bylaws. The Ranger, who is very friendly and herself lives in a van, approached me to tell me this.
This was our first stay in our van, so we really enjoyed going there.Translating
Slightly sloping, but if you're careful there are a couple of fairly flat spots. Lovely and peaceful until midnight when Spotty McChav arrives with his mates and spends the next two hours blaring 'music' before finally going home. Peace was resumed. Apart from that, a lovely stop. No bins though.
