Quiet riverside area, limited electricity

The only major downside for us, as we have currently been on this area for a week: when we arrived, the bins were full, and now they are overflowing! When are they emptied? With this heatwave, it is becoming a problem—the flies and smells are not great! Please pass this information on to the relevant services. Thank you.

Excellent place, quiet, with no annoying noise. The only drawback is the grass scattered with goose droppings.

Wonderful, well-positioned spot on grass, with electrical hookups near the vehicle; good for fishermen. The only downside is a huge amount of bird droppings. Supermarket 500 m away.

It is a beautiful, peaceful place. A supermarket is within walking distance. Have your phone ready at the barrier. We did not receive a ticket and could not quickly photograph the code. Fortunately, an employee came the next morning and printed the ticket for us, allowing us to leave. We will definitely come back.

Nice and quiet place. Note: there is electricity for only 16 campers, although there are more than 16 pitches. Good advice: if you want electricity, check on foot first; otherwise you may pay for nothing, and you could just as well park somewhere free. In front of the barrier, you can also stand by the water without electricity.

Thanks to the municipality for this little piece of paradise: clean, quiet, on the banks of the Meuse, with all shops nearby. We will come back.

Unfortunately, do not come at the moment! There is grass on the pitches and you are guaranteed to get stuck! Some people experienced this last weekend. Otherwise, the area has everything and a decent view. ✅

A quiet area, excellent for hiking. Electricity is fine, but water requires a special adapter. This is indicated at the entrance, but stay on the path in rainy weather. Make sure you keep your ticket when paying on arrival; the code on it is essential for leaving and getting water.

Beautiful spot by the water. It is pleasantly quiet and there is plenty of space for fishing. A very nice pitch.

Rather expensive camping area, considering that water distribution requires a special adapter, so you cannot fill up. Flood-prone area, covered with goose droppings. Quiet.

Three stars even though this area deserves five. But when I see that it has been taken over by two Belgian-registered cars with caravans and an outdoor shower, and that it looks like a traveler encampment, I wonder what the municipality is doing, especially since there is a camera at the entrance.

Actually a very beautiful place on a meadow with shady trees, directly by the river and ideal for fishing. But beware: when entering and paying at the barrier, no ticket came out of the machine with the code for water and exit. There was no phone number. So we were trapped for the weekend until the town hall opened on Monday to help us.

Great place along the Meuse, especially the front row. Since the entire area is grass, you may sink in after rain. It is worth checking before driving in. Satellite reception is not available everywhere in the front row.

Large area, with the possibility of cycling along the banks of the Meuse. Ducks, geese, and wagtails are part of the scenery. Unfortunately, there was no water for the services today. We recommend the excellent bakery on the other side of the bridge.

We spent a wonderful day and a very quiet night at this motorhome parking area. It is very well maintained and clean. The services are available at a very reasonable price. I will come back.

Very pleasant on the banks of the Meuse. Be careful in rainy weather, as the pitches are on grass.

Very beautiful motorhome area at the foot of the Meuse, with a greenway on the opposite bank. Be careful during the rainy season because the ground is grassy. Shops—Intermarché, two or three bakeries, and two butchers—are five minutes away on foot.

Great area. Stayed 3 nights. All as described. Intermarche 5 mins walk. Voie vert to Givet is a lovely cycle route. We would recommend.

Very nice, quiet and peaceful site with a view of the Meuse. Payment by bank card only: €11.00 per night, plus €0.22 tourist tax; electricity included. For filling up with water, bring a male-to-male connector. Supermarket and small villages with a bakery and butcher just a few minutes' walk away. Clean and well-maintained place. We recommend it.
