Bangårdsgatan 1, 453 50, Lysekil
Been here?
A paying motorhome area above the harbour in the city centre, convenient for visiting town but recently described as dirty, noisy, and uninviting. The winter price was 280 SKr, and stays are limited to 2 nights. Payment is made through a website, with a code for the service building, although the code was recently reported not to work. Fresh water has also been reported as milky and unsuitable.

The site is dirty, noisy, and anything but cozy. The assigned code for the service building did not work. It is not a place we would recommend, nor one we will return to.
Close to the center, but no nice view, toilets closed in winter, and Wi-Fi only works sometimes even though I am the only one here. Still 280 SEK in winter. Fortunately, across the street at the Cowboy Café there is not only delicious chocolate and buns, but also a toilet.
Only for spending the night if you cannot find anything better. Noisy and unpleasant, with no view if you have to park behind the restaurant. The star is for the usable toilets.
Expensive. And only uptight people with big bellies. Very strange. 220 SEK. A rip-off and a terrible camper standard. Sunbathing their bellies during the day and watching TV in the evening. Great. That was Bucaner007's comment from 2020, and in 2025 it is still exactly the same! :-) We laughed a lot and quickly left again.
Paid parking, €24 per night, maximum two nights; black-water disposal and filling, electricity always available, quiet and peaceful, though the water is not particularly clean. Bathroom code, which I did not use: 9374.
We wanted to empty everything and refill, but found only fresh water. The fresh water is absolutely NOT recommended—it looks completely milky!!!
Great place in the harbour next to a fish monger and restaurant. Easy to pay via website. Clean facilities. Close to town.
For staying in the city, it is fine: €27.33, next to the port. It is difficult to find a space; we found the only free one. You have to park in it, then enter the space number on the website and pay. Very simple. You receive a code for the facilities. It is fine for one night and visiting the town, although somewhat expensive; of the three options, we think it is the best.
Quiet camper site. Railway no longer in operation. Road separated by a wall and little traffic. Check-in: park the motorhome in a free space, then open the website. There is a sign for this at every pitch. Pay by credit card. The code for the clean sanitary facilities arrives by email.
Great spot, directly in the town. Facilities clean and warm. We were opposite the building and didn’t need ramps, but others did. Bit confusing to start with, about how to pay, look at the sign at back of your pitch, use website and code, all will be clear. Water and black/grey waste disposal are automated, but at the far end of parking lot, to the left if you are facing the harbour. Nice town.
Quiet camper site at the harbor. Some pitches have a view of the sea. What stands out is that the sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Cassette emptying and grey-water disposal are about 700 meters away.
Really nice site on asphalt, including electricity, toilet, and shower. Beautiful view over the water from our pitch. We would gladly come again.
Three stars because I did not test the sanitary facilities, as we are self-sufficient. Good site close to town for one night. However, the payment process requires internet experience because it is rather complicated.
Nice site on asphalt. Gas or charcoal barbecues are not allowed. We have been here several times and will probably return. If it is full here, there are two or three other options in Lysekil. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurants is not the best. But there is good and cheap pizza just across the old railway track.
Good location and fresh facilities. Unfortunately, roof tents are not allowed, only motorhomes or equivalent vehicles.
The site is fine and centrally located. The shower and toilet facilities are older, but kept clean.
We liked this stopover. It's a working quayside. Easy access to town. There are views of the sea from some pitches at both ends of the row. Toilets and showers were good and clean; showers were hot. Only downside was that the camperclean machine wasn't working.
