21 Avenue de l'Abbé Guichard, 17340, Châtelaillon-Plage
Been here?
Five reserved motorhome spaces in a parking area currently subject to nearby construction activity. No services. Maximum stay 48 hours. Tariff is 7 euros for 24 hours (payment by card or cash); the payment terminal is sometimes non-functional. The sea is approximately 300 metres away and the beach is a 20-minute walk. Nearby restaurants and cycle paths along the seafront. Quiet at night despite daytime roadworks.

Parking still available even though there is a construction area; payment machine out of order; well located.Translating
Still closed because of construction work!Translating
Small parking area, very good. Close to the port. A very pleasant short walk to take.Translating
Stayed last night. Wasn't aware of a charge to stay! ticket machine not obvious... roadworks atm in vicinity ... quiet night, close to restaurants and cycle track along beach front to other bars and restaurants I imagine very busy in high season.
Nice place. But closed due to construction work until October 31, 2025.Translating
Small, quiet parking lot opposite some houses, with the ocean 300 meters away and lovely walks on foot or by bicycle, plus small beaches for swimming—all for €7 per 24 hours, payable at the machine by card or cash. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Stayed here last night. Machine wasn’t working so didn’t pay the €7. Pretty quiet here and a small walk down to the beach/sea. Nice easy stopover
Very good for staying during the day and/or night. No services. Quiet night. Very close to the sea. We did not pay because the parking meter was broken.Translating
Quiet night, no services, but we knew that. For €7 by the seaside, it is acceptable, especially since apparently it is free until March 31?Translating
Parking lot 10 minutes from the seafront, with a lovely walk to take. No services.Translating
€7 to sleep in front of houses and a parking lot! Too bad for the businesses that will not get my money.Translating
Reserving a place for motorhomes is great, even for a very small area. However, they should not charge when construction work is scheduled to begin at 7:45 in the morning, and they should not allow cars to park there. Thanks to the municipality anyway.Translating
Just to stop and sleep. We arrived late and there was still space. It was clean and quiet; there is a nearby road, but it is not busy. Thanks to the municipality for this small parking lot. The parking meter is on the left when entering the parking lot, not 100 meters away as mentioned in another review.Translating
We were happy to be able to park, even for €7, next to the sea and enjoy the cycle path that runs along the entire coast. We spent two peaceful nights here. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Stopping for €7? I’ll pass.Translating
Motorhome parking without services; camping behavior is not allowed. €7 for 24 hours, payable at a parking meter. 100 meters from the beach.Translating
Not great; paying just to park is hardly inspiring.Translating
It allows you to make a quick stop. Too bad you have to buy a 24-hour pass and cannot pay by the hour.Translating
Parking, €7/24h with no services in the off-season ☹️ I’m moving on.Translating
You really have to want to stop here: impersonal, very, very narrow, with constant coming and going from the free car park beside it. If you like being crowded, go ahead.Translating
Just behind this parking area, there is another free car park for vans and converted cars. Access it by crossing the motorhome parking area.Translating
Great parking area very close to the ocean and restaurants. Thanks to the municipality. €7 for 24 hours since 01/08/2023.Translating
It has been paid parking since August 1, 2023: €7 for 24 hours.
Our first night in a motorhome, and the location was ideal. Close to the sea and quiet.
